"Brandon was a delight to have at my 70th birthday party. He read the crowd well and played a wide array of music. He never took a break, playing for three hours without interruption. "My wife and I popped along to see the popular Denis Cook's solo gig. Along with his regular set songs like: "Budapest" by George Ezra, an acoustic version of The Foundations "Baby Now That I’ve Found You", Neil Diamond's "Love On The Rocks" and "Sweet Caroline", even Chas & Dave's "Rabbit" Denis establishes a good rapport with his audience, some of whom are obviously regular fans, so there was plenty of joking, repartee and crowd participation during this gig which was played to a packed house and which saw Denis strumming guitar, ukulele, mandolin and blowing some decent harmonica too. Denis has learnt his craft well and along with his affable manner and fine vocal renditions which made for a very pleasant evening. (For those who may not already know, this talented man is also a well-respected DJ!) In any event, we had intended to stay only a short while but ended up staying put for a full, enjoyable 3 hours and although I didn't count, I'm told Denis played 52 songs in this extended set!"

"I had the pleasure of having Sandy perform at my 30th birthday party on a yacht, and he truly made it a night to remember. He was incredibly easy to work with, open to song ideas, and made sure to entertain a wide range of requests from all the guests. His voice was soothing and beautifully delivered all the top Bollywood songs we love. Sandy really brought the vibe I was hoping for, and his performance was a highlight of the night. Highly recommend him for any event!"

"Oak & Brass were fantastic and a brilliant surprise for a 60th Birthday party. They were really easy to communicate with beforehand and kindly learned some of the birthday girls favourite songs for the big day. We were up and dancing the minute they started and I don't think any of the party sat down from the moment they arrived. Everyone at the party was raving about the music the day after.... I would book again in an instant. Thanks Oak & Brass!"

"Dave has a great gravely voice accompanied by his intense strums. Always prepared (Shows up early,) professional in all ways… with his friendly rapport engaging his audiences young and old with his knowledge and broad range of tunes. He cuts right thru to the songs that resonate to us!"
