"Mary was such a pleasure to work with!! She always made herself available to discuss details, and she met us at our venue a few months prior to the wedding to coordinate locations and day of scheduling. She also helped us figure out the Italian SAIE license. The band has such a wide range of musical options so we ended up booking the pianist for our ceremony, jazz trio for our apertivo, and band for the late night dancing. Our guests raved about the band and we had the best time celebrating with them!!"

"The Distance played at our companies 10th anniversary event. We absolutely loved them and have had comments from both staff and clients since the event. They really made our night unique. They were professional, kept in contact (we even booked them at really short notice and they were so SO helpful!), and honestly just made the night special. Fantastic at their craft, the loveliest and most down to earth people, worked around speeches etc. Highly recommend! Thanks Soph and Mat! "

Their tone was rich and soulful, their technique flawless, and every note was filled with emotion. Whether it was a smooth jazz ballad or an upbeat funk piece, Dr. Saxy had the audience captivated from start to finish. You can tell they pour their heart into every performance. Highly recommend catching a show if you ever get the chance—this is a saxophonist who truly speaks through their instrument."

Her talent is amazing, and so many of our guests commented on how stunning the music was. She was professional, kind, and so easy to work with throughout the whole process, helping everything run smoothly and exactly as we imagined. The live violin added such an elegant and romantic touch to the day, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better.
