Review Centre: Wedding DJs

"We hired Alistair for our wedding and what a fantastic job he did! My wife and I don't have the most mainstream music taste, and I have a particular dislike of cheesy music, which could be a bit tricky for a wedding. Luckily for us, the majority of our guests had been to many gigs and festivals with us over the years, so we knew that by playing songs from those and similar bands, he'd be onto a winner. I even said "My favourite songs aren't necessarily the ones that'll get people dancing...", not too tough a gig, eh?? On top of that, it was a really warm day and most guests preferred to be outside in the cool. We (literally) put our dancing shoes on and started the party, and people joined us. I lost count of the amount of times I gave Alistair a nod when he played an absolute tune! He later admitted that he'd never heard of some of the bands I'd mentioned, but he absolutely smashed it. It just shows the level of planning and preparation he went to to make sure we had a great night. We had some nice comments from the guests about the music, in particular one that said "Thank you for not playing the usual rubbish you hear at weddings"? Between us and the venue, we wrongly thought there was an 11pm curfew and he was even flexible to play an extra half an hour by request - something he really didn't have to do, but we were very grateful to be able to let our hair down and dance with the handful of remaining guests. As well as being well prepared and professional, he was super easy to deal with and came across really well, we'd totally recommend booking him for your event. Thanks very much, Alistair! "Wow!! DJ Stephen Heggie absolutely delivered an amazing experience for my wife and I’s party the day after our wedding! Stephen was hands on with everything, from regular contact leading up to the day to providing a party our guests will never forget! He covered everything and more, so friendly, professional and a true gentleman. He knows exactly what he is doing with a wealth of experience and I couldn’t have imagined the party being as fantastic without him leading the way. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to have the best party imaginable, book him and leave him to do his thing. Phenomenal!! "I first heard DJ Maurice at my cousins party, I got his business card and had him play at my daughters graduation and he was a hit! He played great music our guests were on the dance floor all night, that I had to extend him for an extra hour! He plays exactly what you ask for! And when we plan events we talk about hiring DJ Nite Mix, but due to his high demand he’s always booked :( I will continue to use him for future events! Thank you DJ Maurice."

"Brian Bender was great! We were looking for Irish music for our cocktail hour and a DJ for after dinner. Brian was able to provide both of those things! He put together a three piece Irish band and then he DJed the rest of the night. He was great and everyone danced the night away! We ended up having him stay an extra hour because everyone was having so much fun! Highly recommended "

"We got married abroad, so our party was post wedding. We asked for it to be a chilled, club style atmosphere with no cheese or formalities, just a good party. Michael stuck to our request list and ensured it was the type of night we wanted. "

"When listening to Richard playing the organ one can immediately sense the love that he has for the instrument as well as his great passion for the musical works performed - it's really quite contagious and leaves you with a feeling of happiness and of having been a part of something very special. I highly recommend Richard to anyone who is thinking of either celebrating a wonderful event or commemorating, perhaps, the life of a loved one. Richard's music will leave you with a feeling of something to treasure long after the event."

"Stephen was a brilliant DJ. Professional and friendly. I sent him my playlist and he took care of everything. Really made the party and everyone danced the night away. Only thing I would do differently is have another hour of music! Totally recommend and worth every penny!"
