"Blag were really exactly what we were looking for! I don't live in London so I was nervous about choosing a band I hadn't heard play, but they sounded great online, and I spoke to Michael over the phone and on email about the type of party we were having and the music we wanted. Most importantly they played brilliantly on the night, everyone was up out their seats for a good knees up and we were guided round the dances that we didn't know. All the guests were happy. Would definitely recommend!"

"I can't say enough great things about Raquel Riot! They performed at our veterinary hospital's 70th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser, and they completely exceeded every expectation. "I booked Blag to play for my wedding and I was astonished by their ability to play almost any genre of music. They have a really lively act and are very down-to-earth, polite and professional to work with. It was clear that they really love playing music and their energy and enthusiasm infused the whole evening. The wedding reception was running late with the speeches and food, so Blag wandered around the tables playing violin and guitar acoustically before they played their evening set….It was magical. If I ever get married again, Blag will be my band of choice!!!"

"A2 Barn Dance provided a reel party for our daughter's 18th birthday party - what a night it was! They were very friendly and professional from the booking stage all the way through to the last note. They quickly realised our level of proficiency on the night and adapted their playing accordingly. In addition to being consummate musicians, they are really pleasant to deal with and supportive. I thoroughly recommend them."

"The Annasach Ceilidh Band made the evening of our wedding in The Netherlands unforgettable, motivating Dutch and French feet alike to dance the Scottish steps. Even my 62-year-old aunt was on her feet all evening and remarked at the end that from now on, she only wants Scottish weddings. The band also dealt very professionally with some unforeseen circumstances, rebooking their own flights when their original flights were cancelled, taking a lot of stress away from us. I will happily recommend them for any wedding or party in Scotland or abroad, and look forward to visiting one of their Ceilidhs in Edinburgh when we next find ourselves there!"
