Most of what decides whether a booking runs smoothly is settled before the band arrives, and it depends on the room. Venues in Buffalo, New York, United States range from function suites with a house PA and a fixed curfew to marquees and outdoor terraces where everything has to be carried in, and the same five-piece behaves quite differently in each.
A four or five-piece needs roughly 4 by 3 metres of flat, dry floor, more once a drum riser or a brass section is involved, plus two or three power sockets within reach of the stage area. Check the load-in route early, because stairs, a long carry from the car park, or a lift too small for a bass cabinet all add time, and some acts charge for it. Ask about a sound limiter before you commit to anything: a limiter set low will cut the power mid-song, and there is no way around it once you are there. Curfews work the same way, since an 11pm finish moves the whole running order earlier than most people expect.
Saturdays in peak season and the whole of December go first, often a year out, so the band you want can end up fixing your date rather than the other way round. Distance shows up on a quote as travel, and occasionally as accommodation when the finish time makes the drive home impractical. Friday and Sunday bookings widen the field considerably if the date is flexible. Ask what the travel figure covers, since some acts price it into the fee within a set radius and charge separately beyond it.
Most bookings in Buffalo come in around $950 for two live sets, with duos and trios below that and larger lineups with brass or extra vocalists above it. What varies more than the headline figure is what sits inside it. Check what the quote covers: travel, a DJ set or playlist between sets, and how long the band plays in total rather than how many sets they perform. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due close to the event, and overtime is normally charged in half-hour blocks, so agree the finish time in writing rather than on the night.
The average price for Cover Bands available in Buffalo, New York, United States is $950 (USD). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Rock Garden
"I went to see this band at Doc MacGilligans recently and was enjoying the music until the end of the first set. The band is quite good but the lead singer seems to think that he can impose his will on others. I went to the washroom and discovered, when I returned to my seat at the bar, that he had moved my drink and jacket to another location so his family/friends could be together. Had he simply asked, I would have agreed but to make that unilateral decision really told me something about him and turned me off the band."
Ryan Thomas Smelle
"Ryan and the guys were amazing! Easy to work with leading up to the event (answered my many questions), professional and very talented too. Our attendees raved about them!"
The Enablers/ Hammer Tones
"I saw the Hammer Tones in Brantford, 3 songs in and I was convinced that we had to have them play at our car show in Hamilton. They showed up and did not disappoint !!!!! What a great mix of songs as they covered many genres which satisfied our many age groups. The day was extremely hot and the band did not miss a beat - they pushed through like the professionals they are. The reviews from the hundreds of people at the car show were phenomenal. Although we do change our band selection each year, we will definitely ask the Hammer Tones to return in the near future. Great job guys !!!"
Vic Barreira
"When we talk about musical talent, and skilled soulful vocals, Vic Barreira is first on the list. Whether he's performing with a guitar or keyboard, Vic is the "real deal". His renditions of Neil Diamond, Elton John, Billy Joel, and the Beatles, as well as his own material is testament to not only his professionalism but for his love of music. Catch Vic live at your next venue and get ready to be blown away!"
Cheap Thrills
"Amazing Band!
We hired Cheap Thrills to perform at my dads 70th surprise party.
Booking them was easy and they answered all my questions in a timely manner. They were professional and very talented.
The put on an amazing show and had everyone up dancing all night. Received so many compliments about them after the show.
Will definitely use then again for future events."
Raquel’s Riot
"I can't say enough great things about Raquel Riot! They performed at our veterinary hospital's 70th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser, and they completely exceeded every expectation. From the first song to the last, they had the room full of energy. People were singing along, dancing, and having an amazing time.
You can truly see how much they love what they do. Their talent, professionalism, and ability to connect with the crowd made our event feel so special. We've had so many people tell us how incredible the band was and how much they enjoyed the music.
Thank you, Raquel Riot, for helping us celebrate such an important milestone and making the night one we'll never forget. If you're looking for a band that will keep your guests entertained and create unforgettable memories, look no further. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!"
