Guitar players mostly quote per set rather than per hour, with rates in Montreux starting from about CHF110 for a single instrumental set, typical bookings around CHF320 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching CHF950+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Matt Denison Music
"We were incredibly fortunate to have Matt as the musician for our wedding in France! From start to finish, he went above and beyond—not only performing but also helping to set up all the sound for our ceremony and ensuring the musical setup for the entire day was flawless. His immense talent and infectious energy got the party started and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about his performance! Matt brought a magical touch to our special day, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable musical experience."
Kymotopia
"I was thrilled when Kymotopia agreed to play at our wedding, and they somehow exceeded all expectations.
Jean-Nöel and Joseph were incredibly accommodating from start to finish, happily taking on special requests, including learning specific pieces especially for us, and even helping out with a few extra things on the day. We asked them to perform some of these learned pieces at key moments during the ceremony and they absolutely nailed it. "A World of Waves" (their first album) is forever going to be a musical portal for me back to that special day.
These two are fantastic musicians and wonderful to work with. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!"
Marco Bartoli
"His music brought a truly charming atmosphere to our wedding reception. Tasteful, warm, and never overpowering, it felt perfectly in tune with the moment. A wonderful musician and a real pleasure to work with."
Tazio Forte Quartet
"The best and coolest quartet for aperitivo! We where so happy to have them play at our wedding. Book them if you want high quality live music!"

We designed an elegant program blending timeless classical pieces with refined jazz standards, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere for the members and guests. It was a pleasure to collaborate with such a distinguished organization"
