Rates for violin players in Athlone begin at about €150 for a single short set, with most quotes coming in near €400 and experienced electric acts carrying their own sound equipment reaching €1,050+. Set length drives the figure more than anything else, followed by whether the performance is acoustic or electric and how far the player travels. Learning a specific piece for a processional or first dance usually adds a small fee, and covering a ceremony and an evening reception together costs more than a single set. Ask for a written quote that states set length, arrival time and the rate if the schedule overruns. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Asgards Traditional Irish Music
"We had the Asgards play at the day 2 of our wedding in September to a mixed audience of British and Irish guests and they were absolutely phenomenal! We really wanted our guests to experience some traditional Irish music as part of our wedding celebration and Asgards were the perfect band for that!"
Swingy duo
"We were very lucky to have Alice and Fernando travel up the country and perform at our wedding. We had them perform at both our drinks reception and the after-dinner entertainment.
We had given a few suggestions like to play some ‘summery rock music but in their own style’ as well as performing their own style of music, and they absolutely delivered! They are both extremely talented and it was such a unique musical act to hear at a wedding which was exactly what we wanted!
We were so happy with everything they did and highly recommend them.
The only downside was that myself and the groom were not able to just sit and listen to them playing as we were so busy throughout the day 😂"
Ayden Graham – Folk/Rock/Jazz Covers
"An absolute breath of new life in the music scene. Fantastic musician with a wide range of styles with amazing vocals. Very entertaining. Watch out for this guy,he is well worth a listen. Go see him perform."
Meadhbh Hayes - Trad/Folk/Pop Covers
"Simply put, Meadhbh Hayes is a show stopper. She played for our private family of 17 during our stay in Galway. She is bursting with talent, charisma, and energy. Honestly if she lived in the USA I would befriend her in an instant. Her song choices catered to a wide range of tunes and she even sang a new song she wrote. Phenomenal in every way!! Highly recommend for your next event. She will not disappoint!"
Foot Stompin' Ceilidh Band
"The band were wonderful and so accommodating with our requests for the night which helped to make it just that little bit more special. So many of our guests commented on the fantastic music!"
Sensational Violin
"Roksana was absolutely phenomenal! I booked her for our engagement party. We came up with a playlist together a month before and as soon as she started playing everyone jaw's dropped! We will definitely book Roksana for our wedding day, she gave us such incredible evening!
Highly Recommended"
