VAT, invoices, and paying as a business

If you're paying for a Gig Heaven booking on behalf of a business, you can download a VAT-compliant invoice once the deposit has been paid. This article explains what's on the invoice and how to grab it.

Where to find your invoice

  1. Go to My Account and open the booking.
  2. Look for the Payment receipt / invoice link. If you've paid the deposit, both a standard receipt and a VAT invoice are available.

See How to view your payment receipt / invoice for a step-by-step.

VAT invoices are only available for bookings paid in GBP. If your deposit was in another currency, you'll get a standard payment receipt instead. If you need something specific for your accounts, contact us.

What's on the invoice

  • Invoice date (the date the deposit cleared).
  • Invoice reference.
  • The total fee and, separately, any travel expenses agreed in the contract.
  • The deposit paid.
  • The balance still due to the supplier.
  • Supplier payment details (how the balance is paid).
  • Currency symbol and name.
  • Our business details: Gig Heaven is a trading name of LastMinuteMusicians.com Limited.

Adding a company name to the invoice

Make sure the name and address on the booking matches the company you need on the invoice. You can update your company details at any time from Edit contact details in My Account.

Invoice for the balance paid directly to the supplier

The remaining balance is paid directly to the supplier, so Gig Heaven doesn't issue an invoice for that portion. Ask the supplier directly, most will happily send you a simple invoice for their services.

If you need a bespoke invoice

For anything outside the standard format (for example, specific wording for a finance department, or multiple events on one invoice), contact us and we'll help you sort it.
