How to join Gig HeavenJoining Gig Heaven is free. Choose a Customer Account if you want to hire event suppliers, or a Supplier Account if you provide services like music, photography, or catering. Visit the sign-up page to create your account.
How Gig Heaven worksGig Heaven is a platform that connects customers with event suppliers and entertainers worldwide. To learn more, you can take a tour of the site, or read detailed guides on how it works for customers or suppliers.
Password reset or account recoveryTo recover your account, click the reset password button and enter the email address you used when joining Gig Heaven. If you're having trouble with the reset process, contact us for further assistance.
How to remove your account (or hide/delete your listing)To remove your account, email admin@gigheaven.com from your registered email address with a request to delete your account.
How to make sure YouTube videos are visible on Gig HeavenYour YouTube video appears unavailable on Gig Heaven if it's not set to public or if embedding is disabled. To fix this, go to YouTube Studio, click Content, ensure your video is set to Public, click the video title, click Show more, check the 'Allow embedding' box, and save your changes.
Why won’t my audio files upload?Your audio files may not be uploading because they're too large (you have 60MB total space), in an unsupported format, or you've run out of storage. Try compressing your files with Media.io, shortening the clip, or converting to mp3 format. You can also upload to SoundCloud or MixCloud first, then add them to your listing.
Changing your passwordGo to My Account, sign in, and click Edit contact details. In the Change Password box, enter your new password (at least 6 characters) and click Save changes. If you use a passkey or social account login, you can add a password the same way to enable email sign-in.
Logging in: email, passkeys, and social sign-inYou can sign in to Gig Heaven using your email and password, a passkey (fingerprint or Face ID), or your Google, Apple, or Facebook account. All methods take you to the same My Account page. If you forget your password, click Reset your password on the login page and we'll email you a recovery link.
Signing in with a passkeyUse a passkey to sign in with your fingerprint, Face ID, Windows Hello, or PIN instead of typing a password. After your first login, save a passkey when prompted by following your device's instructions. Later, just click 'Use saved passkey' and confirm on your device. You can manage passkeys from My Account, and most modern devices sync them across multiple gadgets automatically.
Changing the email address on your accountGo to My Account, click Edit contact details, replace your email address, and click Save changes. You'll receive a verification code at your new email - enter it on the verification page to complete the change. Your account stays signed in during this process.
Using Google, Apple, or Facebook with your accountYou can sign in to Gig Heaven using your Google, Apple, or Facebook account instead of a password - just click the relevant 'Continue with' button on the login page. Your Gig Heaven account will be created or linked automatically. If you lose access to the social account, you can still sign in using your Gig Heaven email and password. To unlink a social provider, contact support.
Setting up your listing for the first timeTo set up your first listing, go to My Account, click Add a listing, and fill in all required fields: a unique name, Gig Heaven URL, category, descriptions, location, at least one photo, and pricing information. Once complete, click Activate Listing and wait for our team to approve it - then your listing goes live and appears in search results.
Why is my listing inactive, and how do I activate it?Your listing must be activated to appear in search results. Check your listing status in the editor - if it says 'Missing required info', complete the required fields (name, URL, categories, descriptions, photo, location, pricing). Once it shows 'Ready to activate', click the Activate Listing button to send it for review, which typically takes less than a working day. If activation is declined, we'll email you what needs fixing; make those changes and request activation again.
Writing a listing description that gets bookingsYour listing description is crucial for attracting bookings. Use your short description (80 characters) as a punchy headline in search results, and your long description to detail your line-up, style, experience, and what you offer. Include your repertoire, past clients, venues, and practical details like set length. Avoid phone numbers, email addresses, external links, and non-English text. Be specific, avoid clich s, proofread carefully, and update regularly with recent gigs.
Uploading and organising your photosUpload photos by dragging them onto the drop zone in your listing's Photos tab, or click to browse files. Your first photo becomes your main hero image - drag a different one to the top position to change it. You can reorder photos by dragging, crop them to adjust the focal point, and delete individual photos or all at once. Keep at least one photo active, stick to JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC format (max 50 MB each), and remember that good lighting and action shots work much better than posed photos
Adding and reordering audio samplesUpload audio files (MP3, M4A, WAV, or AIFF — 60 MB total storage per listing) by dragging them onto the audio drop zone in your listing's Media tab. Reorder tracks by dragging them into position, rename them by clicking the title, and delete them with the delete icon. To replace a track, delete the old one and upload the new one. Keep clips short (around one minute) and lead with your strongest material.
Connecting your SoundCloud profileTo add SoundCloud to your listing, go to My Account, open your listing's Media tab, and paste your public SoundCloud playlist URL in the SoundCloud section - use a playlist link, not a single track. The player will embed with auto-play off and related content hidden so customers stay focused on you. To remove it, click Remove SoundCloud; to swap playlists, remove the old URL and paste the new one.
Adding videos to your listing (via Youtube/Vimeo)Add YouTube or Vimeo videos to your listing's Media tab by pasting the video URL into the "Add video" box. Reorder by dragging, rename via the edit icon, and delete with the delete icon. Videos must be public and embeddable to show on Gig Heaven.
Setting your pricesSet your prices in the Prices tab of your listing. You can publish prices or keep them hidden, set a base price, add up to five tiered options with descriptions, and write terms explaining what's included (travel, deposits, etc.). Research similar acts in your area, price for the whole package including your time and experience, and offer multiple tiers to attract different customers. Keep prices up to date so enquiries match what you'd actually charge.
Adding your own FAQ entries to your listingAdd custom FAQs to your listing by opening My Account, going to the About You tab, selecting a topic heading (such as About Your Act or Technical Info), then typing your question and answer. FAQs appear on your public listing grouped by topic and help customers find answers without messaging you. Include practical details like equipment, space needed, travel distance, and pricing.
Standing out: promoted listings, badges, and widgetsYou can promote your listing by adding an embeddable Gig Heaven badge or ratings widget to your website, sharing it on social media, and improving the listing itself with reviews, videos, photos, FAQs, wider travel distance, and more pricing options. The embed codes are available from My Account under the promote listing action.
Holiday mode: auto-reply or hide your listing while awayHoliday mode lets you take time off whilst staying on Gig Heaven. Set start and end dates on your Availability page, write an away message, and choose to either keep your listing live with auto-replies or hide it from search temporarily. Everything reactivates automatically on your end date, and you can apply these settings to all your listings at once.
