Adding your own FAQ entries to your listing

Custom FAQs let you answer the questions customers keep asking, right on your listing. Good FAQs save you time responding to enquiries and help customers self-qualify before messaging.

Where FAQs are managed

Open your listing from My Account. On the About You tab you'll find a Custom FAQs section grouped under topic headings like About Your Act, Performance Info, Technical Info, and Clients & Venues.

Adding a new FAQ

1. Pick the heading that fits your question best.
2. Type your question (up to 150 characters).
3. Type your answer (up to 1,000 characters).
4. Click add. It appears under that heading on your listing.

What makes a good FAQ

• Real questions from real customers. Not generic marketing.
• Specific, practical answers. "Yes, we bring our own PA for up to 150 guests" beats "We have all the gear you need".
• Cover the full range. Technical (equipment, space needed), performance (sets, breaks, learn-song requests), logistics (arrival time, parking), pricing (what's included, what isn't).

Good topics to cover

• Do you bring your own PA / lights / backline?
• How much space do you need to set up?
• How much time do you need for sound check?
• How long do you play and how many breaks?
• Can you learn a first-dance song?
• Are you insured (public liability, PAT testing)?
• How far will you travel, and are travel costs included?
• What's your policy on food for the act?
• Do you provide a DJ service between sets?

Where FAQs appear

Custom FAQs show on your public listing page, grouped by the heading you chose. Customers can click to expand each answer. They're also picked up by Gig Heaven's on-site search, which helps customers find you for specific needs.

Deleting an FAQ

Next to each FAQ there's a delete icon. Click it to remove that FAQ from your listing. Deletion is immediate.
