Why won’t my audio files upload?

The most likely reasons an audio file won’t upload:

  • The file is too big on its own. Each individual file must be 60 MB or less.
  • You’ve used up your 60 MB total audio storage across all the tracks on this listing.
  • The file isn’t in a supported format. We accept MP3, M4A, WAV, and AIFF — uploads in formats other than MP3 are converted to MP3 automatically.

If size is the problem, try using Media.io to compress your files, or trim the clip so it’s shorter.

Alternatively, upload your audio to SoundCloud or MixCloud first, then connect it to your listing — these don’t count against your 60 MB allowance. See Connecting your SoundCloud profile.
