We need a performance space that is undercover if weather is an issue. Power will need to be available and 2 parking spaces.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. This is an extra charge.

We have performed at Kedron Wavell for NYE 2025, over 200 people.

We enjoy performing at a wide range of events, were guests are consistently engaged, and the atmosphere quickly becomes energetic and welcoming.

Susie Goulding has spent around 22 years living and performing in London. During her time in the UK, she built her career as a live performer, playing venues ranging from small clubs to the Royal Festival Hall, and worked as a function singer for corporate and private events. After returning to Brisbane, Susie joined forces with Steven Burns to create Burning Gold.

Steven Burns is a singer‑guitarist and live musician who performs the other half of Burning Gold, a high‑energy acoustic duo known for playing crowd‑pleasing covers spanning rock, pop and country classics from the 1960s through to more recent decades. The duo’s live sets are aimed at parties, weddings, corporate events and pub gigs. Their focus is on familiar, sing‑along songs that get audiences involved and entertained.

We have many influences and artists we enjoy listening to and performing their songs.

We normally arrive 1-2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 3 x 45 minutes or 3 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

They are great, and just the right mix for our demographic.
