"Velvet Crush played for our corporate event of almost 300 people. They kept the audience engaged and everyone had a great time! Song selections were appropriate and they sounded amazing. They even had a surprise vocalist for us! In short, the band "crushed it" and we look forward to having them back next year!"

"I was lucky enough to be out for dinner when these guys were playing - Wow! What an amazing surprise. You generally go out these days and have a boring dinner and go home but these guys had the whole place up and dancing. We ended up staying there all night - Everyone wanted the night to go on. Highly recommend heading out for dinner and drinks if they are playing in your area!"

"Mary and the BIT Band were absolutely amazing! She was communicative and easy to work with. They provided a list of songs and were also open to learning a few others that we requested. They were an absolute hit at our wedding and we had several guests say it was the best wedding band they’ve ever experienced! Highly recommend. "

"From the moment we heard the band virtually, we knew we needed to book them for our wedding in Tuscany. As a bride from Canada I was worried about not being able to find a band for our ceremony and aperitif and not being able to hear them live as we would only be meeting them the day of the wedding. Ivan made us feel so confident in our choice and answered all our questions prior to booking, as well as assist in tailoring the song choices to our preference. The band was one of the highlights of our wedding and our guests could not stop talking about how talented and amazing they were. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting the perfect musical group to compliment their wedding."

"The Brogues provided our wedding in Largs with 5 hours of fun Ceilidh and disco dancing at a very affordable price - I don't think they could have been beaten on value. We had friendly Grace on keyboard and sweet Alan on fiddle, and together they produced that distinct Scottish Ceilidh sound, beautifully. They played a well-balanced mix of group and couples dances, interspersed with well needed refreshment breaks, and concluded the Ceilidh with EVERYBODY on the dance floor for the head-dizzying 'Strip the Willow'. Grace did an amazing job on the mic, explaining the various dance routines and keeping everybody right. For many of our guests it was their first Ceilidh experience, and the Brogues certainly made it one we all will never forget. Everybody smiled and perspired heavily - a sure sign of thorough enjoyment! Our first dance was made extra special, with Grace and Alan performing a very romantic cover of 'How Long Will I Love You' - which would honestly not have sounded better had Ellie Goulding been there to sing it herself! The evening was then rounded off with a disco of songs, superbly mixed, from our chosen playlist. Grace and Alan, thanks again. You were lovely and truly helped us have the best wedding possible! Highest recommendations from Stephen & Daffne."

"There are songs that just stand out because they are so different from everything out there. “Stay Down Kat”, by The Unknowns, is definitely one of those songs. There’s a suave, jazzy, bluesy feel to this song, with great lead and backing vocals. It’s sultry, sensual, mysterious, and controlled, yet it has its powerful moments. And who can resist a great sax solo? Those things will draw you in, and soon The Unknowns will be known. "

"The Long Players were worth every penny. Their communication prior to the wedding was excellent and they responded immediately to any queries or requests we had. They were flexible, professional and reliable throughout. On the day they proved to be an excellent band, and the guests had a great time dancing to them, including a spontaneous conga to Satisfaction! We would certainly recommend them. "I have worked with 5th Gear on several occasions at several events throughout the area and I cannot say enough about the band. Not only do they sound great and have a wide range of music in their repertoire, but even more important in my book, they are consummate professionals. I have worked with enough "diva" bands to know these guys are not that at all. An absolute pleasure to work with each and every time. If you have the chance to see these guys play or better yet have a chance to hire them for your event, do not hesitate. Just do it. You will not regret it! "
