Review Centre: Classical Guitarists

"Every time we are in Nerja, we try to attend a Pablo Alcásar concert. Also this year, on 10.02.23, we were allowed to attend a concert again and, as always, we were enthusiastic about his musicality and his guitar playing💪. We wish we could hear him again here in the coming years. Our greatest wish would be a concert with Pablo and the two musicians from Café del Mundo, Jan Pascal and Alex from Germany, who have already performed here. "Highly Recommended! I found Stephan Kane on Gig Salad while browsing for our Wedding Musician. I was looking for someone affordable, reputable, personable, a little rustic, and talented (of course!) - Stephan was all of those things! I was a little wary of hiring someone on Gig Salad without meeting them first so I asked Stephan to meet my fiancé and I at Starbucks. The meeting went great! He answered tons of questions, made me feel at ease, and showed us samples of his music. It was a no brainer, we HAD to have him at our wedding! Stephan is also very flexible with his music. He gave us a list of songs he normally plays but also said if there was a song we absolutely loved, he would learn it! I thought that was such a generous offer! We ended up sticking with selections from the list he gave us and I was very specific: this song for the bridesmaids, this song for me down the aisle, this for the kiss, this for the walk out..etc. On the day of the wedding everyone was late due to unexpected traffic (and he was very apologetic afterwards) but all that mattered to me was that he was there before me and he was so no worries Stephan! We started the ceremony about 45 minutes late due to the traffic and Stephan was nice enough not to charge me for the delay. The ceremony went great. He played everything beautifully and followed my specific instructions. We received tons of compliments about him afterwards! I highly recommend Stephan for your musical needs! Our day wouldn't have been complete without him!"

"Nick played at my best friend's wedding in September, both in the church and at the reception, and so many of the guests complimented his music. He was so co-operative at the planning stage in the choice of music for the church, and created such a relaxed and happy atmosphere at the reception. We thought he was brilliant."

"João and Patricia and the band were fantastic. So easy to communicate with to make arrangements and the quality of the music was brilliant. Patricia has a beautiful voice and all the musicians were great. Thank you so much for making our evening so memorable. "

"Alan provided the perfect music throughout our ceremony and drinks reception. We’ve had so many guests comment on how amazing he was along with being both friendly and accommodating. He learnt our request to play during the signing of the register and it was just perfect! Highly recommend  booking him for any event- you won’t regret it!  We booked Alan 3 years in advance for our wedding, throughout the whole process he was friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough for us! We felt totally safe in his hands. No request was too much - his talent truly is unmatched, one song we asked for he sent us a sample of that he’d learnt within days - we were so shocked! We had so many compliments about Alan during and after our wedding. He came dressed professionally was great with our venue and really set the tone for our ceremony and reception, his work was beautiful and effortless and we’d recommend him to anyone! "I planned a surprise 40th birthday for my husband from out of state and I knew I definitely wanted a band, but not being from that area made it a challenge. I have to say hiring Dennis and The Way band was the best decision I made for that party. They were so good we even paid for an extra hour! We were singing karaoke at the end, the kids were learning the drums and everyone was just having a blast. I would hands down hire them again and recommend them to anyone."

"Mark was very Professional, he arrived at the time he stated and was set up in no time. He started playing as the people arrived and played constantly for 4 hours. I kept asking him to take a break, but he kept on playing. He had a very wide range of repertoire. He really enjoys playing, it is not just a Gig. Highly recommend him. "

"We hired Emanuele for the welcome dinner for our guests and it was a perfect choice. We wanted music that was not intrusive but not boring and he immediately understood what to do for us. He is a very refined musician and knew how to play the right notes at the right time. Emanuele was also very helpful in the previous months with video calls to plan and answer our questions. We are very satisfied, our guests have complimented us and we recommend this excellent artist."
