"Stephan was wonderful. About a month before the wedding my family member(who was to play guitar) became ill and was not able to attend the wedding. I found Stephan on this site and he was perfect! "I have been using Nick for many years for book launches. By their nature, these events usually require quite a robust performance while people arrive, settle settle in and start chatting, then something more subtle as they warm up and have wine, at which point all that is needed is subtlety. He played at my daughter's wedding, both in the church and at the start of the reception. In both instances, apart from his obvious musicality, he was appreciated by all for his intelligent approach to the location and occasion. He has a sense of humour and will join in the fun, managing to slip seamlessly from pure classical to today's popular hits. Hard to beat. ("

"Chris was a pleasure to work with and made our wedding day really special with some beautiful guitar music at our wedding reception and his own take on a few of our favourite songs for our wedding ceremony. "We had John play at my birthday party with around 30 guests. His totally masters his repertoire and his music is beautiful! But what we liked even more is that John is not a prima donna who wants to be the star performer: despite him being a top pro, he’s happy to play in the background and provide atmosphere. He made my party complete without imposing himself and everybody was very impressed."

"If you’re looking for a guitarist to play at your wedding, I couldn’t recommend Alan more! He has a huge playlist to choose from and had some many of our favourites. Alan moved around the venue depending on where guests were and so many of our guests commented on his playing. Annoyingly, we were delayed getting to our reception, due to transport issues, and Alan so kindly stayed to play for longer than planned for us. It was the perfect music for our wedding reception and breakfast! We can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and brilliant, Alan. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends! "Chris saved our wedding, literally, I am not exaggerating. On a day that was going almost too perfectly, we arrived to the ceremony location to find we had no sound equipment as expected. Chris was there preparing for a later wedding, and did not hesitate to offer his services. With no planning or premeditation at all Chris played a series of beautiful and fitting guitar music for our guests as they filed in, and outdid himself with a perfect accompaniment to the bride as she walked down the aisle. Fate, luck, or whatever you call it, we are incredibly grateful for Chris's talent and selflessness, he truly saved the day. Chris is a very talented guitarist, with an ear for the mood/setting, and very affordable rates, we would not hesitate to book him again (with a little more foresight, hopefully). "
