"Before we hired Karla Ruiz we looked at many groups…we wanted plenty of music for the ceremony but also the ability to choose our favourite songs and Girona Duo allowed us to do just that. From the moment they listened to our proposed idea we never had a no for an answer. We knew that it would not be easy and it would be a challenge for any musician…it shows when someone does their work with love and affection, and they certainly did. We couldn’t have asked for more, we only have the best words of gratitude to say about them!"

"Would definitely recommend. Alan has a large list of song choices from 80’s classics, indie rock and even the disney songs meaning there is something for everyone and made it very easy for us to choose exactly what we wanted. Well dressed and professional. Sets himself up and just got on with it. Lots of guests recognised the songs and was a great modern spin on an acoustic guitar.  We went for 3 hours during our wedding reception to provide some atmosphere.  Regards, Jack"

"I first saw Billy support Jazz Sabbath in November 2022. He blew me away with his genius ability, skills that are naturally gifted followed by 20,000 hrs of practice, honing, and dedication to his art. Billy is a must-see artist who plays some of the best music ever written in his amazing and unique style. To add to his musical talent, he has a wonderful personality that shines through when h talks to the audience. Billy is unmissable. Make the effort to see and support this young talented maestro."

"I hired Stephan pretty last minute to play at my wedding ceremony and during my cocktail hour after a family member bailed. I saw some videos of him on the Internet, and I pretty much knew at that moment that he would be perfect. Stephan was a real pleasure to deal with starting with the booking process. He was very responsive to my emails. His rates are very very reasonable as well, and that never hurts. He was kind enough to learn a song that he did not know because I was walking down the aisle to that song (Storybook Love from the Princess Bride). He did this for no charge. What an awesome and thoughtful gift! It is not often that a musician offers to do something like that. One vendor I had contacted after thinking Stephan might not be available actually told me that the song would be too difficult for him to learn. Lucky for me, everything worked out with Stephan's schedule. I recently watched my wedding video, and it occurred to me that I never talked to Stephan at my wedding to thank him for doing such a wonderful job. He played so beautifully, and the photographs of him playing at my wedding show just how passionate he is about music; it's visibly apparent. Stephan is very talented, and I recommend him with flying colors. I only wish I would have thanked him in person."

"When we got engaged, we knew we would like to have a small, private ceremony with family and close friends. We contacted Chris to discuss how that might look and from the 1st call, we knew we were in good hands. Chris is so talented, modest, and efficient. There were big asks being put to him and he delivered on all fronts, to a degree that we could only have dreamed of. Chris brings so much to a ceremony by incorporating his own style of guitar playing into the requested songs. His good humour and easygoing reassurance are bonuses to having him involved in a ceremony. Thank you Chris for all you did for us in 2025 as we planned our wedding - we are eternally grateful! "We recently held a small, intimate destination wedding, and choosing Patrik to be part of our big day was one of the best decisions we made. We were initially drawn to him for his talent on the guitar and his incredible musical range - he can truly play anything, and he does it with style, heart, and skill. From the beginning, Patrik was warm, enthusiastic, and incredibly professional. Throughout the planning process, he was responsive, approachable, and genuinely excited about being part of our celebration. It made working with him an absolute breeze. On the wedding day, the music was nothing short of incredible. My partner and I had chosen two special songs for key moments - one of which isn’t typically performed acoustically, so we weren’t quite sure how it would translate. But the version that Patrik and vocalist Sarah composed was stunning. As soon as they began playing, I could feel the tears welling up. It was beautiful, emotional, and captured exactly what we had hoped for. Patrik also played during our cocktail hour and dinner, and the vibes were strong. The song selection, paired with his sheer talent, created such a fun and joyful atmosphere. It wasn’t long before everyone was singing, dancing, and completely immersed in the celebration. I honestly can't rave about Patrik enough. His talent and energy are a solid 15/10. If flying him back to Australia for every future celebration was an option, we’d do it in a heartbeat! Patrik truly elevated our event. He helped create unforgettable moments and added so much heart to the day. We’re so grateful to him and Sarah for making our wedding day even more magical. Thank you!! "

"Thank you so much for your wonderful music! It really was extra special to have it live for our ceremony. Our family and friends loved it as much as we did. And thank you for learning our songs. I’m glad you like beeswing and John martyn May you never. They are possibly some of my favourite songs of all time! From the initial contact, to changes of plans and venues, David was extremely understanding and flexible, very calm about the whole thing. Then on the day, he intuitively knew where to be and when to play, so we did not have to worry at all about the music. "
