"The Brogues provided our wedding in Largs with 5 hours of fun Ceilidh and disco dancing at a very affordable price - I don't think they could have been beaten on value. We had friendly Grace on keyboard and sweet Alan on fiddle, and together they produced that distinct Scottish Ceilidh sound, beautifully. They played a well-balanced mix of group and couples dances, interspersed with well needed refreshment breaks, and concluded the Ceilidh with EVERYBODY on the dance floor for the head-dizzying 'Strip the Willow'. Grace did an amazing job on the mic, explaining the various dance routines and keeping everybody right. For many of our guests it was their first Ceilidh experience, and the Brogues certainly made it one we all will never forget. Everybody smiled and perspired heavily - a sure sign of thorough enjoyment! Our first dance was made extra special, with Grace and Alan performing a very romantic cover of 'How Long Will I Love You' - which would honestly not have sounded better had Ellie Goulding been there to sing it herself! The evening was then rounded off with a disco of songs, superbly mixed, from our chosen playlist. Grace and Alan, thanks again. You were lovely and truly helped us have the best wedding possible! "I recently had the pleasure of booking Johnny Guitar for my event, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. From the very beginning, he was incredibly easy to work with, professional, responsive, and flexible throughout the entire process. His range of music was absolutely fantastic, covering an impressive and diverse variety of styles that kept everyone entertained. He even took the time to ask if there were any specific songs that we wanted to hear, which made the experience feel really personal. The crowd absolutely loved him and danced the night away! Johnny brought great energy to the evening and created a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish. I'm more than happy to recommend him for any future function and definitely look forward to booking him again myself at some point."

"Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

Toni is a excellent communicator and commentator! Brock has jokes like none others, the ones you want to remember! Loved the bagpipes!!!"

"Mr. Minor was extremely professional throughout the whole process. He was at the cemetery for my mothers graveside service well before we arrived and played beautifully. He has a large repertoire of songs and is willing to learn songs if he doesn’t know them. Not at all pushy about money and the price was extremely fair. I of course don’t want to have to call him for funeral services anytime soon, but the next time it comes up I will definitely call him first."

John has an amazing talent and his professionalism and flexibility in accommodating our time and place were above and beyond all expectations. The music is so beautiful and mesmerizing and we look forward to having John, his kilt, and his bagpipes join us in the future to mark some of our most treasured moments. He puts heart and soul into his performances and it shows."
