"Rufus Return Band brilliantly provided the music for our 50th Ceilidh party. The band played a selection of different Ceilidh music and the caller (Brendan) was excellent, engaging our guests and really helping everyone to have a good time! It was so much fun, we had the best evening and felt like we were in safe hands from the moment the band arrived. We had a useful conversation with Brendan prior to the event so that all arrangements were in place. Would highly recommend for any party! Thanks Sarah"

"Tony recently provided the service of being piper at my father’s funeral. At my family’s request he wore the kilt and full highland piping regalia, his appearance and performance was stunningly beautiful. He phoned me as soon as I booked him, to find out how the service would run, and advising us on the music, the traditions, and service he could provide. He was supportive, and professional, and his skill with the bagpipes was hauntingly beautiful. I will be hiring him again! "

"Happy to have hired Michael for to pipe my new bride into the venue and up the aisle, it was a surprise for herself and she absolutely loved it as did the guests . A must for a wedding in my opinion , absolutely fantastic singer piper. Thanks again."

"Jason came to pipe our primary 7 leavers our on their last day of school. He arrived in plenty of time (early infact!) and filled out every & any request we had. He really wanted to help us make this day special & one to remember for the kids. I’m so unbelievably grateful to Jason, and will most definitely use him again in the future!"

"Over the years Spectra have used Bob Ferguson, and his bands Celtic Horizon, and Beggars Row to entertain many of our corporate clients. Bob is a natural charmer, has a great voice and delivers many traditional, and more contemporary songs with great style. He always has fun on stage, loves to interact with guests, and uniquely can always be relied on to read the room so that audiences feel they are part of the experience. We love having Bob play for our clients!"

"We were so happy to have Dorothy play at our wedding — she was absolutely brilliant. Her harp music added such a special, elegant touch to the day and really helped set the tone from the moment guests arrived. In the lead-up, Dorothy was a dream to work with. She made everything really easy and stress-free, with a clear repertoire to choose from and great suggestions. She even tailored the song list to suit us as a couple, which made everything feel really personal. On the day, she played beautifully — we had loads of compliments from guests, and hearing our chosen songs on the harp was such a memorable part of the ceremony. "We wanted to say a massive thank you for the Brogues’ amazing music and entertainment at our wedding - we had a fantastic night! We particularly loved the ceilidh but it was all so brilliant. Thank you for incorporating the afrobeats tunes into the disco too - it definitely kept the (very warm) dance floor full and the party in full swing! We had so many compliments from guests on how great you all were and so many people who had never done ceilidh dancing before found that you made it so easy for them with the calling etc. We loved partying with you and think you are all great at what you do!"

"We booked a Ceilidh with the band last year. Had to postpone but they were good with that. The party could not have gone better. Everyone dancing from the first dance. The band responded well and the calling was good as there were a number who had not been to a Ceilidh before. Organisation and communication was good. Thoroughly pleased with the how everything went."

"Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

"TLDR: Music is good, communications is on point, on the day it’s all under control and beautifully executed, everyone enjoyed, stress free throughout, we are so happy. —— We are so blessed to have Dorothy playing harp at our wedding! Totally recommend her as she excels every single steps throughout. She’s so talented, professional and with lots of personal touch that we deeply appreciate. Her music is just amazing. All the guests complimented her and enjoyed all the songs. She’s able to learn extra new songs depending on the packages, and those ones we asked her to learn were beyond the world. Made so many of us cry as the music really complemented the moment perfectly. Her website and wedding information book was clear and easy to navigate. From the first email communications, Dorothy showed great dedication, care and professionalism in catering to our big day. She gave super clear communications and instructions, was very involved throughout but also gives us (the couple) lots of freedom to design the process (music lineups, songs arrangement, where to set up the harp, etc) to make it how we want it. We’ve dealt with so many suppliers along the way as we plan for the wedding, and although they are all great, Dorothy is honestly the best and really makes us feel so safe and happy throughout and even afterwards.
