We enjoyed the musical diversity of their programme and their skills on the different instruments - that was a WOW and really contributed to an outstanding evening of entertainment! "I hired Annette to play a few songs for a public marriage proposal. She was great! Not only does she play beautifully, but she was extremely flexible as we worked through the plan—even with the winter weather! I really appreciated how she took a personal interest in the proposal and was genuinely excited for us. It made the whole event unique and special. I HIGHLY recommend Annette for marriage proposals and any other reason someone wants to bring some beautiful violin music into their lives!"

"I needed to surprise the president of our company for his birthday — and I realized at 11:30 p.m. the night before that I hadn’t planned anything. Our VP wanted us to do something totally crazy and unexpected, especially since our president hates birthdays. Thank God for ChatGPT, which gave me the idea to hire a bagpipe player to play “Happy Birthday” — and that’s how I found Johnny. I messaged him through the website, and he responded within 30 minutes. He said he could do it, and honestly, he was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was flexible with timing (even when I had to change things), super professional, and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. For someone to come through last minute like that and absolutely deliver? Incredible. Our president loved it, and it made his day. Highly recommend Johnny — you truly can’t go wrong."

"We couldn’t ask for a better experience for my father in laws funeral. Johnny showed up way in advance in a beautiful setting. We asked for some specific numbers, one of which he’d never played. He mastered the song and played it beautifully as well as the others. He also was very helpful in suggestions for timing. Prelude music while people were arriving was truly an added bonus. This man is also a true gentleman. If you desire a piper for any event, I recommend Johnny."

"Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests."

"Talk about a professional! Johnny Miner was a Class A professional. We had him play at my brother's graveside services. He called ahead of time to get all the details. He explained he would play off in the distance while people gathering. Then as per requested he would play Amazing Grace. He offered to explain to those gathered that he would play Amazing Grace and then fade off into the distance as is the Celtic tradition of the spirit lingering and then fading away. The cemetery he played at was quite a ways away, so not only did he travel a long ways to get there, but he was early to the graveside services. Unfortunately one of our speakers got lost, so the service was delayed a considerable amount of time. However, Johnny continued to play in the hot sun with no complaint. The bagpipe playing was the highlight of the send off for my brother and was no doubt the highlight of the service. I was amazed how simple and quick it was to make the arrangements to have a bagpiper play at a funeral service. Johnny was dressed beautifully and enhanced a beautiful service. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to add the beautiful sound of bagpipes to any event. Hopefully in the future we will be able to invite him back for a more joyful event such as a wedding."

"Bob Ferguson has played in Hannes Musikcafe in March 2023 and we have been to several of his concerts. His repertoire ranges widely from the Scottish/Irish/American song treasure mixed with his own numbers. From beginning to end, he involves the audience – ie; - he moves around among the audience and gets them to sing along to the many well-known sing-along songs. Bob is fantastic at "reading" his audience, makes lots of fun, laughs and jokes and has a fantastic contact with his audience. The songs mix with seasoned fine stories, lots of humour and vivid descriptions. Dressed in a kilt and with his powerful voice, from the moment he takes the stage, he creates a close and intimate atmosphere, and you leave the concert in a good mood. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob Ferguson."

He was a pleasure to deal with in the preparations, incredibly professional and focused on delivering a meaningful performance. "We cannot recommend 'Rock Hunters' enough – they were absolutely fantastic at our wedding! From start to finish, they truly brought our celebration to life. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they also know how to read the room and get everyone up and dancing. The energy they brought was infectious, and they had guests of all ages on their feet all throughout their set. One of the highlights was their personal touch. They took the time to learn our first dance song, and their performance of it was beyond perfect. It made that special moment even more memorable for us. Their interaction with our guests was also amazing – they were so friendly and engaging, making everyone feel part of the fun. If you're looking for a band that will not only provide incredible music but also elevate the entire atmosphere of your event, 'Los Rock Hunters' is the one.
