"Hot-Wax was phenomenal! We booked them for our wedding at Chateau Allure du Lac (early September 2022). They were legitimately the best wedding band I've ever heard. I've been a musician for 25+ years and can say with confidence that these guys are extremely talented musicians and top-notch performers. All of our guests had the time of their lives dancing the night away to their music. They even learned a few special songs for us and performed them perfectly. "Words can’t describe how incredible Marcello and the whole band were for our wedding, 23/5/2026. I feel emotional just writing the review! From the moment I contacted Marcello, his professionalism and attention to detail has made me feel extremely special and valued, his communication was exceptional and he truly put in the time and effort to make our day magical, even playing “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles for us as a special nod to our Liverpool roots. The band looked impeccable, so stylish in their suits and sunglasses! And they ensured everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony, to the aperitivo and then the dinner. Not only that, the music was simply breath taking - every song choice we loved. It was lively, but classy and still allowed guests to talk while enjoying it. The setting - sipping our wine in the Sicilian sunset with their fantastic music… it’s something we’ll never forget. Each musician was a master of their craft and we genuinely feel honoured to have had them. I feel like we have made a friend for life and we extend the invitation to visit us in Liverpool, if they ever fancied it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we genuinely are on a high from the day."

"Southern sons quite literally made our evening, they learnt our first dance song, quite an obscure one as it was an American country song. They played it beautifully. Our dance floor was never empty and the boys were hilarious. They filled the room with an amazing atmosphere and people haven’t stopped raving about them. My new husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all once again for giving us the best night. We will be keeping them in mind for future events. Highly recommended."

"Fantastic! Perfect addition to a milestone party! Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition were the highlight of my husband’s 50th birthday celebration! Mr. Armsworthy is a complete gentleman and was recently awarded the 2019 Maryland Traditions Heritage Award. We were equally impressed to discover Mr. Armsworthy hosts a weekly radio show, Bluegrass By the Bay. The band is the real deal! Communication and logistics for our event were seamless, and their talent, musicianship, and harmonies - a gift. Our diverse crowd didn’t want the set to end. Thanks for a great evening!!"

"We booked Neo Roots after months of research, as we wanted a band that could offer flexibility across genres and eras to keep all of our guests happy at our wedding. A band can truly make or break a wedding or party, and it’s safe to say Neo Roots absolutely MADE ours they were exceptional. From our very first meeting, the band were incredibly responsive, flexible, and genuinely listened to what we wanted musically. On the day, they arrived early to set up and carry out a sound check, being very mindful of our small venue so as not to disrupt our wedding breakfast or celebrations. When I discovered that our ceremony venue had a grand piano, they kindly agreed to play during our ceremony at very short notice, which was such a special touch. As for the evening set what can I say? The dance floor was packed all night. Guests couldn’t believe the music was live because the vocals sounded that good. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering, a small venue celebration, or a large wedding with hundreds of guests, don’t hesitate to book Neo Roots. You will not regret it. They were truly one of the best parts of our wedding day."
