"Thank you and your team for a truly excellent evening on Saturday at South Warnborough. We had a full house and everyone seemed to be fully engaged in the event. We certainly didn’t have any sliding away early unless they had to! Please thank the team for all their support, and in particular please pass on my personal thanks again to Alistair for composing his hornpipe, “Old Navigator’s Measure”, especially for me. We would like to get our booking in for a similar Saturday next year, so please can you see if you can fit us in? Thank you again for a wonderful evening."

"Peter Duncan is a professional and highly experienced guitarist. A performance has you spellbound as gorgeous sounds arise to the deft and sinuous movement of his hands. In a set he moves from classics to current chart hits and he puts the deserved energy into rock n’ roll, ballads, blues, reggae and jazz. Peter’s base is a relaxed, easy-listening style in which you sense his own delight especially as he makes a natural playful contact with his audience. The style reflects his passionate influence from The Beatles - with their own arresting melody, lyrical poetry and versatility. Peter also gets into the upbeat and party-like which gets very pronounced when he plays in duos and bands. There’s force in his power chords when he gives a rendition of electric, even raucous numbers! Ultimately Peter is an amiable, easy going and accommodating performer who can touch sweetly or invigorate spiritedly every listener."

The evening began with Chopin’s Nocturne Op.9 No.2, performed with a touch that combined technical precision with deep emotional storytelling. Guests were completely captivated, immersed in the beauty of each note. The sound quality was impeccable: perfectly tuned, crystal-clear, and immersive without ever being overwhelming. Pieces like Einaudi’s Nuvole Bianche and Satie’s Gymnopédie No.1 created moments of pure poetry, making the musical background a defining element of the event’s atmosphere.
