"We booked Groove Star to help us celebrate a significant family occasion. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The party was originally booked for 2020 but due to Covid it had to be postponed. Steve was happy to hold the booking for as long as we needed and throughout communication was first rate. On the day, they fitted in with everything else that was happening seamlessly. They provided two sets of one hour each and there wasn't a song that wasn't met with whoops and cheers from our guests. They were also more than happy to accommodate song requests. The band were brilliant and the singers exceptional. I would absolutely recommend that anyone booking Groove Star go all out and book the whole band, with brass section, as it makes a huge difference. Groove Star are definitely up there as one of the best party bands."

"Hi Versionika! I finally managed to connect and leave you the review I promised. From the very beginning, I had the best experience with these guys — from the chats to the calls, always super friendly and helpful. Honestly, a real pleasure to work with people like this. They asked us what we wanted every step of the way, making space for our input and ideas. And then the show… it was just as good as the videos here — or even better. I was a bit drunk, not gonna lie, but everyone told me the show was amazing. Best decision ever. Cheers!"

"David has been playing our annual event for the past 2 years and we’ve already booked him again for this year. He plays a great mix of songs and he’s happy to play requests when possible. Great for small parties, backyard mixers and similar!"

"Better than our idols You only turn 65 once, that called for a party with 65 guests, excellent catering and live jazz music with a singer (Willem). We preferred the style of crooners Michael Bublé and Dennis van Aartsen, but this band was even better than our idols and exceeded our expectations; great music, super professional, with fun band members. It became a top party with compliments about the music from all guests, young and old. We look back on it with great pleasure!"

"Lorenzo was amazing! He played very well, the music was just perfect! We were a bit unlucky with the weather but Lorenzo was very nice and he did it under the rain anyway. He was also patient and waited for some time with us, for the perfect moment. I recommend 100%. Thank you so much!! "

"We have known Hannah and Louie for over 10 years. We got to know the musical duo in Tavira (Portugal). Hannah's crystal-clear voice and Louie's virtuoso guitar playing inspired us right from the start. Since then we have been meeting regularly in Tavira, we are not only fans but also friends. Hannah and Louie are a likeable couple with many talents. We own the two CDs they have released so far and enjoy their music on long and short car journeys. We are very much looking forward to seeing them again soon. Mike and Tom"

"Nous avons choisi cet organiste pour les funérailles d’un proche, et nous ne pouvions pas espérer mieux. Sa sensibilité musicale et sa capacité à accompagner les moments les plus intenses avec délicatesse ont été remarquables. Le jeu à l’orgue était d’une grande finesse, avec des nuances parfaitement maîtrisées. La collaboration avec la soprano et la violoniste a rendu la cérémonie encore plus touchante, créant une atmosphère pleine de recueillement et de beauté. Il a su s’adapter à nos demandes tout en apportant ses conseils professionnels, ce qui nous a beaucoup rassurés. Son expérience se ressent dans chaque détail. She did a beautiful first dance cover tailored to what we wanted, she kept the dancefloor full the entire night with great songs and a lively atmosphere, and we got so many compliments from guests and the venue alike about how wonderful she was! Would 1000% recommend for ALL your music entertainment needs! Perfect!"

Talented, polite, funny, warm, welcoming and professional are just some of the words I would use to describe you both. Throughout the whole booking process you were responsive, accommodating and helpful and I was really impressed with your ability to tailor your set to accommodate my requests. I was amazed by your ability to learn so many songs in such a short space of time, a real testament to your vocal abilities and dedication to your clients! On the night, you were punctual, organised and efficient when setting up before wowing my guests with 3 sets of top quality music! Your ability to gauge and read the mood of the crowd was spot on and you soon had everyone singing along with you, me especially..! All my guests have been contacting me this week to thank me for the party and all of them have commented about how impressed they were with you both. "The ceremony was beautiful. We entrusted Dona Ofélia with our religious ceremony and we couldn't have made a better choice. They accommodated our requests and were flexible with the adjustments requested by the parish priest. Everyone praised them. We wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend them 🥰"
