"Stephan was an incredible addition to our wedding. He did a wonderful job arranging specific songs for us, and learning some challenging classical pieces at our request! His rates were very reasonable, and he was. a great communicator. He also brought along his own mic and speaker system that he graciously set up for us to utilize for our officiant. Stephan is an awesome choice if you're looking for a top notch guitarist for your event!"

"We are so glad that we booked Peter to perform at our wedding drinks reception. He played music from a range of eras, and it was ideal for our festive winter wedding in a Medieval venue. We knew he’d be perfect as soon as we listened to some of his sample tracks online, and in person he was even better. Peter provided a great atmosphere, he was friendly and got on well with the guests. Peter phoned a couple of weeks before the event to discuss our preferences for musical eras and instruments. We asked for a range of things (including a few Christmas carols), with slightly more hurdy gurdy, as it’s our favourite period instrument. Our guests loved Peter’s performance, as did we, and we 100% recommend him for events. We’ve had lots of comments afterwards from people saying how great he was. Thank you, Peter, for helping to make our day so memorable and festive"

"Perfection Stephan Kane was nothing but professional, responsive, kind, and helpful from the beginning. After listening to his music samples, I was hooked. After booking with him, my wedding had many changes due to Covid-19. Stephan was flexible, accommodating, and supportive through this whole process, delivering nothing but kindness. On my big day, he was early and efficient, and immediately began to play his guitar, while dressed sharply. He is immensely talented. I could not believe my ears! He transitioned flawlessly from song to song, playing exactly what I wanted (he has an extensive repertoire, even including Hawaiian music), and even learned a new song just for us. The guests raved about how phenomenal he was, and I am so glad I decided on Stephan Kane rather than a DJ. To say the least, his guitar added pure magic to my wedding. I would recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful music for any event. THANK YOU Stephan!"

"Stephan did a wonderful job as the guitarist at our wedding. He is an exceptional guitar player, and we enjoyed hearing the music during our ceremony - it was so lovely! He was incredibly kind and easy to work with during our general planning and covid reschedule. He has a super long list of songs he can play (both modern and classical, which is nice), and did a truly beautiful job! We are so grateful for the special touch he added to our ceremony and big day! Couldn't recommend more highly!"

"Then there was the unforgettable Peter Bull. This amazingly versatile minstrel drew another capacity crowd for his marvellously entertaining offering called From Bad King John to Good Queen Bess. Hurdy-gurdy, recorder, dulcimer, cittern, flute, lute and voice were put to work for a fast moving 90 minutes of splendid medieval and Elizabethan songs and dances."

He is very accommodating if you have a song not already in his repertoire. He is reasonably priced, flexible and very responsive! He will not disappoint!"

"Highly Recommended! I found Stephan Kane on Gig Salad while browsing for our Wedding Musician. I was looking for someone affordable, reputable, personable, a little rustic, and talented (of course!) - Stephan was all of those things! I was a little wary of hiring someone on Gig Salad without meeting them first so I asked Stephan to meet my fiancé and I at Starbucks. The meeting went great! He answered tons of questions, made me feel at ease, and showed us samples of his music. It was a no brainer, we HAD to have him at our wedding! Stephan is also very flexible with his music. He gave us a list of songs he normally plays but also said if there was a song we absolutely loved, he would learn it! I thought that was such a generous offer! We ended up sticking with selections from the list he gave us and I was very specific: this song for the bridesmaids, this song for me down the aisle, this for the kiss, this for the walk out..etc. On the day of the wedding everyone was late due to unexpected traffic (and he was very apologetic afterwards) but all that mattered to me was that he was there before me and he was so no worries Stephan! We started the ceremony about 45 minutes late due to the traffic and Stephan was nice enough not to charge me for the delay. The ceremony went great. He played everything beautifully and followed my specific instructions. We received tons of compliments about him afterwards! I highly recommend Stephan for your musical needs! Our day wouldn't have been complete without him!"

"SF City Hall Wedding Ceremony 8/29/19 We hired Stephen to play acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony at SF City Hall (8/29/19). In addition to being very kind, responsive, and professional — his talent is out of this world! His music really set the tune (pun intended) for the entire ceremony! He transformed a very public City Hall into what felt like our own little romantic world. My family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful his music was! Planning a wedding is very stressful having multiple vendors, but Stephen was the only vendor I did not have to worry about or chase down. He’s very upfront with pricing, plan, and requests! "Simply Outstanding! I can't recommend Stephan Kane highly enough. First of all, he is an incredibly talented musician - just check out some samples of his arrangements on his website and you will be convinced. I feel honored to have had someone this talented play at our wedding. Second, he is wonderful as a vendor. We contacted him only 5 weeks before the wedding, and even though he already had a commitment for the evening of the wedding day, he worked hard to find a way to be able to play at our wedding. He was flexible, responsive, very professional and, as a bonus, incredibly sweet. Everyone at our wedding who had the opportunity to interact with him had a very positive impression and everyone loved the music. Finally, his pricing is very reasonable - we felt like we got an amazing deal. I recommend him very highly - you won't regret choosing this amazing musician!"

"Choosing Stephan to play for our wedding was a no-brainer. The quality of his sound and musicianship, as well as the breadth of his repertoire, stood out as soon as we started exploring his website. His prices are also very reasonable. Most important, Stephan is very easy to work with. He responded to all of our emails punctually and was always helpful, flexible, and open to suggestion. He was amazing during our wedding ceremony and reception--all of our guests loved him, as he was so accommodating and took many spontaneous requests from the field! When one of our guests asked for a song he didn't know, he came back after his break and played it for her later! Stephan is awesome!"
