"Highly Recommended! I found Stephan Kane on Gig Salad while browsing for our Wedding Musician. I was looking for someone affordable, reputable, personable, a little rustic, and talented (of course!) - Stephan was all of those things! I was a little wary of hiring someone on Gig Salad without meeting them first so I asked Stephan to meet my fiancé and I at Starbucks. The meeting went great! He answered tons of questions, made me feel at ease, and showed us samples of his music. It was a no brainer, we HAD to have him at our wedding! Stephan is also very flexible with his music. He gave us a list of songs he normally plays but also said if there was a song we absolutely loved, he would learn it! I thought that was such a generous offer! We ended up sticking with selections from the list he gave us and I was very specific: this song for the bridesmaids, this song for me down the aisle, this for the kiss, this for the walk out..etc. On the day of the wedding everyone was late due to unexpected traffic (and he was very apologetic afterwards) but all that mattered to me was that he was there before me and he was so no worries Stephan! We started the ceremony about 45 minutes late due to the traffic and Stephan was nice enough not to charge me for the delay. The ceremony went great. He played everything beautifully and followed my specific instructions. We received tons of compliments about him afterwards! I highly recommend Stephan for your musical needs! Our day wouldn't have been complete without him!"

"Stephan Kane played beautifully at our wedding in late September. But first things first: initial communication with Stephan was incredibly smooth. I sent him an email and his responses were always incredibly thorough and informative. After listening to some of his demos, my wife and I were sure he was the one. I asked Stephan if he could please provide a custom arrangement for our first dance and he very professionally described what that process would entail. The results were amazing! The song he played for us was so perfect! My friends and family all asked about him and thought that his rendition of our favorite song (first dance) was very pretty. After the first dance, Stephan played a very appropriate mix of songs from his repertoire. The wonderful thing about all the music he played the entire night was how perfect it was for whatever it was we were doing. When we were chatting, the music and volume were perfect. When we were eating, the music and volume was perfect. You get the picture. We could not have made a better choice. Stephan, your music at our wedding was a gift and you helped make our special day and evening one we will never forget! Thank you so much. "

"Just Perfect! Without a beat, I would recommend Stephan to other couples looking to create a beautiful and authentic environment for their wedding day. We had him play for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and he was such a pleasure to work with all throughout the process - accommodating our venue's (stringent) requirements, lightning fast responsiveness, thoughtfulness, etc. He was helpful with recommendations and answering any questions we may asked - even when it was looking for an additional opinion. "Stephan Kane's booking offered the option guitar duo with Luke Trimble. The service was very professional. Steve replied to all of my emails in a timely and kind manner. Being a former pianist myself, I know that some musicians can be touchy when clients give preferences or ask for certain music -- not the case at all with this wonderful guitar duo. From Steve's large repertoire listed on his website, I chose the majority of the songs for the hour of the ceremony. Songs not in his listed repertoire, Steve was very accommodating in arranging for us: I enjoyed what he did with my special request for Debussy - Clair de Lune. He was also kindly kept the time flexible so we could move the hour up and down by ~15 minutes while we confirmed last minute details with the venue and other wedding vendors. BOTTOM LINE: Steve is a well organized, great musician who was a joy to work with for my wedding. His services (and the option to book him as a duo with Luke) are high quality and were a worthwhile investment. We were lucky to have found him. And I recommend to book him while he's still available for your event!"

"My husband and I booked Stephan for our small wedding dinner, and he was amazing! He is so kind, professional and is sooo talented. His music made our night perfect! He even did a special song so we could have our first dance. He is so hard working and reliable. You will not be disappointed with Stephans work. I highly recommend him! I felt so lucky that we were able to book Stephan, he is truly amazing!"

"Stephan played at my wedding, and did such an amazing job! It rained almost the entire time at the outdoor wedding, but he was very flexible with all of the changing plans, and did a great job to make things special. Stephan's arrangements are very well written and performed, and he put in a lot of effort to make sure that he played the songs we asked him, and went above and beyond to work with one of our friends that sang for our first dance. He was very professional and very easy to work with while planning the wedding as well. He has a great repertoire and a large selections of songs to choose from. We had him play mostly hawaiian and contemporary music, and it all sounded great! Toward the end of the night, some of our more musically inclined friends even got up to sing while he played his guitar! It was very special, I highly recommend him!"

"Stephan was such an amazing Guitarist for my wedding reception (cocktail hour and dinner)!! I had an outdoor wedding reception at a restaurant with 37 people. Despite the many changes that went on with the COVID pandemic, Stephan was super flexible and open to anything. I really like his guitar playing style, which is a mixture of contemporary and Hawaiian. He was very decently priced. I also feel that this is a minor detail, but his contract was super easy to navigate lol. On another note, my family threw me a small wedding shower with immediate family during shelters in place. My aunt had hired him to play guitar via Zoom, which turned out very nicely!! I would definitely recommend Stephan if you are looking for a guitarist during cocktail hour. It's pretty nice and relaxing to hear this music during that time. If I have any other events in the future, I'd totally hire him again!! Thanks Stephan for making my wedding day special!!!"

"Ladies, if you want a dreamy and romantic ambiance at your wedding with an affordable price tag and no hassle communication, look no further, Stephan is the musician for you! Initially, I was hesitant about spending money on live music and was just going to have a playlist for my daytime wedding at Halekulani because I was finding that most live musicians did not fit in my budget. However, I found Stephan online and was impressed by his affordable rates compared to other musicians. I booked Stephan for both my ceremony, and cocktail hour/reception (he has a special package for this) and I am so happy that I did! From the very beginning, it was such a pleasure working with Stephan. I sent him so many emails with questions and he always responded very promptly (within several hours) and politely. I had also requested a special song for my first dance, which I wanted to be accompanied by a family member for vocals and Stephan not only did this for free (including a practice session) but I was brought to tears by how beautiful the piece turned out! It created a very special memory for my husband and I. Stephan is a very talented and professional musician and I promise you, he will make your already stressful wedding planning process easier!"
