I was planning my wedding from California and had a hard time finding the right person to sing or play for the ceremony and cocktail hour. "Perfection Stephan Kane was nothing but professional, responsive, kind, and helpful from the beginning. After listening to his music samples, I was hooked. After booking with him, my wedding had many changes due to Covid-19. Stephan was flexible, accommodating, and supportive through this whole process, delivering nothing but kindness. On my big day, he was early and efficient, and immediately began to play his guitar, while dressed sharply. He is immensely talented. I could not believe my ears! He transitioned flawlessly from song to song, playing exactly what I wanted (he has an extensive repertoire, even including Hawaiian music), and even learned a new song just for us. The guests raved about how phenomenal he was, and I am so glad I decided on Stephan Kane rather than a DJ. To say the least, his guitar added pure magic to my wedding. I would recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful music for any event. THANK YOU Stephan!"

"Amazing Stephan is so awesome. He was helpful in establishing the set list for our wedding-- I am not the kind of bride who had this all planned out in advance (no wedding book, no bride dream list, nothing), so his prompting enabled me to put it all together. We were of course stressed to the max and running late on the big Wedding Day, but he was able to collaborate with the groom to get everything set up and ready for the ceremony. Not only is he friendly, approachable, and professional, Stephan is such a talented musician and his acoustic guitar playing really made our moment on the beach what it should be: magical! We even invited him to our rehearsal dinner!"

"Once again the Manor House was packed to capacity for what turned out to be a good humoured and very instructive concert. Dressed in period costume with a dashing feather in his cap, Peter Bull treated his audience to a range of airs and ballads from the time of King Charles I. His quiet and unprepossessing manner immediately endeared him to all present and he soon had feet tapping to the brisk rhythm of the hurdy-gurdy. A carefully constructed introduction to each instrument — the aforementioned hurdy-gurdy, the flute, dulcimer and lute, and the type of tune about to be played or sung, added to the enjoyment of the evening. Although lacking the nuances of later music with its elaborate crescendos and embellishments, Peter Bull gave his audience an insight into the vigour and love of words and music enjoyed during the period of the English Civil War and the early renaissance."

"It was awesome working with Stephan. He has an impressive range of music for you to choose from, was incredibly quick in his responses, and was completely professional on the day of. My husband and I were so sad we were pulled away during the entire cocktail hour for photos and didn't get to enjoy much of his music for ourselves, but multiple guests came up to me afterwards and mentioned how good our musician was. I would definitely recommend hiring him for your wedding or any other special event!!"

"Talented and A Breeze To Work With Stephan is clearly talented, it goes without saying, but he is also willing and able to learn new music outside of his repertoire, for a very reasonable price. The music in our ceremony was intentionally chosen, and he respected and honored our vision with such grace and class. We are so grateful to have found him and couldn't recommend him enough."

"If you are considering booking Stephan DO IT! He is a true professional and extremely talented. Stephan was prompt with communication, let us know what to expect, and went above and beyond for our wedding. He surveyed in advance if we had any special requests; we asked if he would collaborate with our family member, who is a professional singer, to come up with a song for our first dance. They met and rehearsed ahead of time and preformed beautifully, and even had more songs as a surprise. Stephan has a wide repertoire and knows when to play slower songs and when to pick up the pace. We booked Stephan for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and partly into the reception. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again."

"We actually didn't plan to have Stephan play at our wedding, but we feel so lucky to have gotten to make his acquaintance through another musician who we originally contacted. We had heard Paul Izak around town and really liked his music so we had originally contracted with him to play through our appetizers and then to ramp it up to the dancing time. Unfortunately ( actually fortunately :) ) Paul couldn't make it until after the appetizer so he introduced us to Stephan. Paul made the arrangement for Stephan to play classical guitar for our appetizers and then once Paul arrived and dinner/ dancing started they both turned up the amps and played some awesome homecooked Hawaiian style jams. So obviously Stephan is a very talented and diverse musician. We couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out. Stephan's solo style was perfect for our appetizer time. We really liked his classical ( and very classy) take on songs that we know and like. Stephan and Paul made our event feel classy, organic and fun. I'd recommend him to anyone."

When I think back on our day, and how full of joy it was, I still think of Stephan and how he brought so much of that energy to our celebration with his music. "Stephan was such an amazing Guitarist for my wedding reception (cocktail hour and dinner)!! I had an outdoor wedding reception at a restaurant with 37 people. Despite the many changes that went on with the COVID pandemic, Stephan was super flexible and open to anything. I really like his guitar playing style, which is a mixture of contemporary and Hawaiian. He was very decently priced. I also feel that this is a minor detail, but his contract was super easy to navigate lol. On another note, my family threw me a small wedding shower with immediate family during shelters in place. My aunt had hired him to play guitar via Zoom, which turned out very nicely!! I would definitely recommend Stephan if you are looking for a guitarist during cocktail hour. It's pretty nice and relaxing to hear this music during that time. If I have any other events in the future, I'd totally hire him again!! Thanks Stephan for making my wedding day special!!!"

"Stephan brought an incredible atmosphere to our event. Along with a violinist, their sound was gorgeous and filled the room. They performed a great set of contemporary songs through cocktails – and even learned a requested piece for our ceremony. Absolutely beautiful. Professional, easy to work with – would certainly look to hire Stephan again!"
