"Johnny was so awesome to work with. I didn’t give him much notice, but he worked with my schedule and the surprise I wanted to plan for my Grandma. His performance was stellar! He is so friendly and a great performer. Every song he played was fantastic, and he played the songs I requested phenomenally. Look no further- Johnny is your guy. I can’t recommend him enough. :)"

"Mr. Miner was very professional and helpful through the whole process up to and including my father's funeral. He gave us suggestions and advice on what he had done in the past that worked well. The music was beautiful and added so much to the service. I would definitely recommend John for any event that you need bagpipes for."

"We were so happy to have Dorothy play at our wedding — she was absolutely brilliant. Her harp music added such a special, elegant touch to the day and really helped set the tone from the moment guests arrived. In the lead-up, Dorothy was a dream to work with. She made everything really easy and stress-free, with a clear repertoire to choose from and great suggestions. She even tailored the song list to suit us as a couple, which made everything feel really personal. On the day, she played beautifully — we had loads of compliments from guests, and hearing our chosen songs on the harp was such a memorable part of the ceremony. We’d highly recommend Dorothy to anyone looking for a harpist. She’s professional, lovely to work with, and so talented. Thank you again, Dorothy, for helping make our day so special!"

"Johnny did one amazing job at our wedding. He was accommodating, made it did use and everyone loved his music. After he left my husband realized he was the one who played at his wife’s funeral a few years earlier after she had passed away with cancer. He had only great things to Say about him when he okayed got our wedding and then when he realized he was the bagpiper at the funeral. Highly recommend Johhny he is truly a great bagpiper yo make any occasion special"

"Fantastic, Fun, Festive & Part of the Family Brock and Toni are gems...they pour their hearts and souls into their performance. They came to my son's Confirmation brunch. They entered through the side gate, so amidst all the talking and laughing, our guests started to hear the glorious sound of bagpipes. He brought everyone to a halt and many to tears! It was such a surprise and it brought such a special feeling to the event. Brock and Toni are wonderful people, and now they are part of the family"

"The last couple of years we had the pleasure of having the Scottish musician Bob Ferguson on stage. He is a great performer. With Bob in the house, you're sure of having an entertaining afternoon or evening. And the music he's playing is diverse. Scottish and Irish folk, but also songs made by himself. We knew Bob already from concerts he played in our folkclub with Beggars Row and Celtic Hearts. But his solo concerts are also from high quality. So whenever you have the chance to get him on stage in your folkclub, bar or festival.....?! Book this guy! "

"Johnny played at the graveside for my mom’s funeral, and he did an absolutely wonderful job. As soon as I requested a quote I receive a message and a phone call. He provided a lot of helpful information up front and was very professional. He was kind and caring throughout the process, and was always quick to respond. The performance was amazing! We could tell he was refined in his skills and everyone enjoyed the music and the emotion he brought to it. We even asked him to play a few more songs while our family did a small activity and he was more than willing to do it. So wonderful!"

"We wanted to say a massive thank you for the Brogues’ amazing music and entertainment at our wedding - we had a fantastic night! We particularly loved the ceilidh but it was all so brilliant. Thank you for incorporating the afrobeats tunes into the disco too - it definitely kept the (very warm) dance floor full and the party in full swing! We had so many compliments from guests on how great you all were and so many people who had never done ceilidh dancing before found that you made it so easy for them with the calling etc. We loved partying with you and think you are all great at what you do!"

"We booked a Ceilidh with the band last year. Had to postpone but they were good with that. The party could not have gone better. Everyone dancing from the first dance. The band responded well and the calling was good as there were a number who had not been to a Ceilidh before. Organisation and communication was good. Thoroughly pleased with the how everything went."
