"Hired for our wedding reception. My favorite thing about Brian is that he is an actual musician on top of just DJ. Played the piano live for our cocktail hour then switched to regular music for dinner and dancing. Brian did a great job mixing in the important moments/songs we had requested, while also taking requests from guests on the fly to keep the evening going. Very laid back but also professional, timely etc. Sound and light equipment was professional quality as well. Would certainly recommend. Thank you Brian!"

Whenever I announce that Hallz N Koatz is playing, my organisation attracts a big crowd of attendees. Always engaging the crowd, even asking for volunteers to participate! "

"I wish I could give John 10 stars! Planning a funeral is hard and stressful, but working with John was not. He responded quickly and gave great suggestions for how he could make the service even more meaningful. There was a small hiccup where I didn’t communicate correctly what the family wanted, but in the moment he jumped in and made it happen. I wish I had the words to explain how great working with him was, just hire him and you won’t be disappointed!!"

"CAMIC had the great pleasure of having Harbour City perform at our annual conference. Not only was the band fantastic, but they played a variety of tunes, from ones themed to the East Coast to familiar tunes from the past. Our guests happily danced until the last set was played"

"School Fundraiser Chichester "Thank you so much for making our Barn Dance on Friday night such a success! Great fun and great exercise!! The music was fantastic, we were all very impressed by your skills and your instruments, especially the funky violin!! We raised approx. £500.00 which will be extremely useful for the School in times of low budgets. We have had requests for another Barn Dance asap , so please may we use you again!! "Really appreciated Brian's thoughtful presence! If you are looking to avoid an obnoxious DJ at your wedding, Brian is your person! Brian was open to the list of music that we compiled. He added when necessary to keep people dancing and he allowed us to make requests! Brian arrived the day of our wedding knowing just what to do for setup and was calm and confident. He was very adaptable to our needs and wishes, he was not just a DJ he set the tone for our wedding!!!"

"I will always be grateful with Peter and Tatiana for coming last minute to my brother's wedding. I was in contact with Mr. Peter and he was so kind and helpful with the stressful situation I was in (the musicians I had hired before cancelled me very late the night before the event). They were on time, their music was beautiful and joyful, the guests were delighted with the accordions, and my brother and his bride were very happy. They were very polite and respectful with everyone, they are really nice people. They truly saved our day, and their music was perfect for the occasion, it ended up being so much better than my first option of musicians. Thank you Peter and Tatiana."

"Johnny was absolutely wonderful to work with for our father’s funeral. He treated the situation with the upmost care and respect. He has tremendous experience working with this type of situation and he gave us some great ideas for different ways the bagpiping could be played, It gave a depth of reverence and heartfelt emotion to this person who passed we all love so much and wanted to give a great lasting memory and dedication to. Johnny really helped set the tone for that in his professional demeanor, his look, and presentation both at the church and gravesite. It was powerful and regal to experience."

"I couldn't recommend the Brogues enough if you are looking for a band for your event, they were absolutely fantastic. They played at our wedding and were the highlight of the day. I had been worried that we didn't have enough guests to make a Ceilidh 'work' (we only had 27 people), but from the moment I first got in touch with Grace she was really flexible and was able to work out exactly how to get all the guests involved and make the evening really special <3 I can't thank you all enough !"
