"I asked Michael to help me do one of the most important things in my life yet - propose to my girlfriend. Michael played the Highland bagpipes and the whistle to make the magic happen. A great performance: musically, visually and emotionally. Very talented and dressed in a bagpiper uniform, a true professionnal. 100% satisfied! I forgot to mention, she said yes!"

"We hired Point Five to play at our first ever NYE Ceilidh and it went down an absolute treat ! We sold out and almost everyone was up dancing which was completely unexpected ! The music was great, the caller was great and it was an all round great night and I’m so glad we chose Point Five as our band for it. I would 100% recommend Point Five if you’re ever in need of a Ceilidh Band!"

"The brogues played and entertained a 60-strong private birthday celebration ceilidh at our village hall. Their skills, musicality, repertoire, dance ‘calling’ and organisation were all excellent, well received and responded to by an all-age gathering. Great band - wonderful music - highly recommended! "

Bob is a natural charmer, has a great voice and delivers many traditional and more contemporary songs with great style. "Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests."

"Amazing! I was born in Scotland, my whole family is born there, so when it came down to my wedding day I always knew I wanted a bagpiper to play at my ceremony. Living in Southern California now, I didn’t know if I could find an authentic piper to play at my wedding, that was until found Stephen Wilkinson! Not only did he ask what I wanted him to play,but he asked what colors he should wear that would best suit my wedding. He showed up early on the wedding day with a huge smile, he introduced himself to my family, who loved that, especially my nana who was visiting from Scotland for my wedding. She loved it, and he took personal pics with them before the ceremony even started. He led my dad and I down the aisle and and then led my new husband and I back down the aisle, after the ceremony. He played during cocktail hour also. My guests absolutely loved his presence there, his piping is spot on and amazing! Everyone commented on how cool it was to have a bagpiper there, and not only how great he was but how friendly he is too! If anyone is looking for a bagpiper for any occasion I highly recommend hiring Stephen Wilkinson. He is the best! 5 Stars!!"
