"Casado were so right for this occasion. At my request they played to over 100 people at a drinks reception at the ICC and then moved the instruments to a much bigger hall within the ICC and played for more the 350 people before dinner. They did this with such style, sounded superb and were so accommodating, working with acrobats, dancers and DJ’s. This was a big event and my clients and guests were very impressed. Really professional, I would be happy to recommend Casado to anyone."

"My mom often mentioning having bagpipes play at her burial. We were so happy to have found Johnny The Bagpiper. Our program was irregular and Johnny was able to flow with us. He was extremely easy to work with and made my moms internment absolutely perfect, bringing comfort, beauty and peace through his sounds. We received many compliments about this added touch."

"Frank Doherty and Ben Gunnery turned a family party into a proper ‘hooley’! From folk songs, to ballads, to the Siege of Ennis, they cranked up the volume when we wanted everyone up on the dance floor, but also allowed the fiddle, guitar and tin whistle to play quietly in the background when people wanted to sit & talk. Two very good Irish musicians; well-played lads ‘go raibh mait agat’!"

"As a long-time Folkpunk, Celtic Punk, Irish Folk Punk fan, I found the line up perfect. It started with the Gavin Carpenter Duo, two men, alone on the big stage. Vocals, guitar and a cajon, that was all to give the audience a taste for the rest of the evening. Personally, I really enjoyed this hour of folk music and I was certainly not alone. The people sang along and clapped along, Gavin Carpenter took the audience to the Emerald Isle musically with his discreet, not at all obtrusive manner and looked very good in his fine suit."

Whether it was gently holding the space during the emotional moments or switching gears to bring the energy and fun, he delivered it all with professionalism and heart. He pulled in the crowds for the auction with ease, kept the night flowing smoothly, and had the dancefloor bouncing by the end. His ability to read the room and respond with exactly the right tone is unmatched. It honestly felt like having a DJ, host, and event coordinator all rolled into one. "We were so happy Casado played at our wedding! They were so so friendly and very open to our requests, including some specific songs from musicals and Disney films. They also played some favourite jazz pieces that we asked for in addition to their own repertoire of swing and Latin jazz, which suited the occasion perfectly. Our guests loved the live music during the drinks reception, outside on the terrace. Casado were very flexible and worked closely with us to make our day very special. The mix of instruments was lovely and made their whole set feel so fun. They were incredibly accommodating and everything we could have wished for. We would highly recommend them for any occasion! "

"I wish I could give John 10 stars! Planning a funeral is hard and stressful, but working with John was not. He responded quickly and gave great suggestions for how he could make the service even more meaningful. There was a small hiccup where I didn’t communicate correctly what the family wanted, but in the moment he jumped in and made it happen. I wish I had the words to explain how great working with him was, just hire him and you won’t be disappointed!!"
