"The Brogues were absolutely brilliant at our wedding at the Oran Mor last week. Couldn’t rate them highly enough and everyone has been singing their praises since. We had many English guests who haven’t ceilidh danced before and the band did such an excellent job of explaining the dances and breaking them into small chunks before building it up to the whole thing. I haven’t stopped watching and laughing at the videos of everyone’s attempts! Communication in advance was also brilliant and all members of the band so friendly. One of our best decisions for the wedding - thank you so much!"

"Jonny scheduled with me the quickest & it felt like I already knew him as we communicated + arranged for the performance.. asked exactly what we were looking for or wanting & style of songs needed at what moments- collaborating with me for weeks prior to my gathering. Well he exceeded anything expected! Everything flowed beautifully~ also dressed well & graceful. Jonny came to play at my brothers memorial celebration and the kind of sound, space, vibe and connection he provided was far beyond what can be portrayed through words! Massively impressed, left in awe, We are beyond grateful for this man merging paths with us, honoring the spirits with who’s in body while sharing his gifts~ We will be contacting him in the future for sure he’s our guy • what a legend •"

"Jonny was quick to be in communication after getting the word of our need after my Fathers passing. He was very attentive, respectful and gave me a list of several songs he would be willing to play after learning what my Dad would like. As the family arrived to the gravesite you could hear the bagpipes which gave a comforting effect, and aided in the completion and overall experience putting my Dad to rest. Jonny is an excellent bagpiper and would highly recommend him!"

She was professional, punctual, and very accommodating with our song requests. Her talent and presence added something genuinely special to the day. "Yiddishkeit Klezmer Ensemble was everything we had hoped for. Communication before the party was always prompt and easy. They offered a variety choices for the size of band to work with our budget. There was a great variety of music to choose from, too. During the party the band really read the crowd, and communicated with us throughout the evening. They shifted with the mood of the party- roving around beforehand as guests were arriving, then playing jazz for the background during dinner, and then after dinner they got our guests up and dancing, teaching them how to do the steps! They are talented, professional, and really fun to work with! Plus they traveled quite far to play for us, with only a nominal travel charge. Highly, highly recommend! "

"We booked the Brogues Ceilidh Band for our September 2025 wedding after seeing them at a friends wedding and they were brilliant! Really easy to communicate with, more than accommodating with our timings and any special requests. They performed a count down to our cake cutting then right into Grace singing our first dance song which magical. All our guests had a brilliant time, couldn’t recommend them enough - thanks again guys!! Mark and Amie ☺️"
