"First time to Ireland, Everything was better than expected until I went to Polly Hops and you guys were playing. This took my trip to Ireland over the top. Fantastic music, songs, and entertainment! After being in what I'll call commercial pubs, I was beginning to be disappointed in hearing any traditional Irish music and what my expectations were of being is an Irish pub. That is until I was directed to Polly Hops because you guys were playing. The experience, music and entertainment you provided were the highlight of my visit to Ireland. Can't wait to come back, hear and see you again and hopefully run across you in the states. Ever in Texas, please let me know. Thanks for a wonderful time. Ken Pendergraft"

"I had the pleasure of the Brogues two piece ceilidh band of Alan and Grace to host my 21st birthday. The whole experience from booking, organising and the party itself was perfect. Grace and Alan were professional, friendly and ensured the best experience possible for both me and my guests. They ensured a personalised experience and everyone commented on how amazing the music and atmosphere was and I cannot thank them enough for making my 21st the special night it was."

"We were very fortunate to have the lads at our day 2 bbq. They were so quick to reply and were very understanding when we needed a later start at short notice. They were truly fantastic and really friendly. Everyone really enjoyed the music the time just flew by. They really set the tone for the rest of the night. Natalie & Derek Cabra Castle Hotel"

"Brock and Toni were absolutely wonderful. Our wedding guests arrived to the heart warming sounds of Brock and Toni playing an amazing Wedding Tune! It was deeply moving and spirit felt by all. Toni's welcoming smile and gentle calming spirit was present on the phone, texts and day of. She helped out on so many levels! What a great way to set the tone for our daughter's wedding. "Thank you and your team for a truly excellent evening on Saturday at South Warnborough. We had a full house and everyone seemed to be fully engaged in the event. We certainly didn’t have any sliding away early unless they had to! "I honestly can’t recommend Shindig wedding band highly enough! We first saw Gav & Sparky playing live in Dublin and knew instantly that we wanted them at our wedding—they’re ridiculously talented, and watching them perform was just incredible. The vibes were 10/10! The guys arrived early, hung out with us for a bit, and set such a relaxed, fun tone right from the start. So many of our guests have commented on how amazing the music was! Their communication was spot-on too—really professional from beginning to end. If you’re thinking about booking them, do it! You won’t be disappointed."

"We were privileged enough to have John play at our son’s one year death anniversary memorial. John has an amazing talent and his professionalism and flexibility in accommodating our time and place were above and beyond all expectations. The music is so beautiful and mesmerizing and we look forward to having John, his kilt, and his bagpipes join us in the future to mark some of our most treasured moments. He puts heart and soul into his performances and it shows."

"Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests."

"I can’t recommend Jay enough. He was absolutely brilliant and had the whole crowd up singing and dancing, he really made our night. His voice was superb and he had a wide variety of songs. He interacted with the crowd and really made every person feel like part of the performance. Thank you Jay!"

"Mr. Miner was very professional and helpful through the whole process up to and including my father's funeral. He gave us suggestions and advice on what he had done in the past that worked well. The music was beautiful and added so much to the service. I would definitely recommend John for any event that you need bagpipes for."

"Thank you so much for the fabulous ceilidh on Saturday night, we had a truly memorable celebration. All our guests commented on what a fun night it was with everyone up dancing by the end! Barry was brilliant and pitched his instructions at the right level for us amateurs - the perfect mix of assertive and entertaining! The music provided by Roisin Ban was superb - you are a very talented bunch and I won’t hesitate in recommending your services. It should also be noted that Chris was excellent from our first contact. He alleviated my worries, tried hard to accommodate my late requests and quickly replied to all my messages! If you want a ceilidh band, look no further!"
