"We had our bagpipe player back out at the last min. Literally 45 min. Before our graveside service was to begin. We found Johnny Miner and we consider him to be a tender mercy! He dropped everything in his busy morning to play the bagpipes for us and it was so lovely, it couldn't have been better if he had any time to prepare.. which he didn't! I would recommend him to anyone. He is very talented and cared more about us and our situation than his own. Thank you Johnny!"

From the very beginning, Michael was so accommodating and easy to work with. During the booking process, he took the time to understand what was important to us, especially our Scottish family connections, and made sure to incorporate that in such a meaningful and thoughtful way. It truly meant a lot to both of us and to our families. On the day itself, Michael was flexible, kind, and completely professional. "Johnny is simply incredible! I am an elementary school music teacher who came to him with a wild proposal to accompany my choir of 96 children on a Scottish folk song, The Skye Boat song. He met with my assistant directors and I to come up with a plan of how to coordinate the flow of the song and balance the vocals and the pipes. He is an amazing collaborator and had a lot of great ideas of how to make it come together. He came to one of our rehearsals and was so gracious and so kind with the students. They absolutely loved interacting with him! Our whole community was enchanted with him when he played for the concert and opened for us and then performed the number we had worked on together. He is a very eloquent and engaging speaker and a master at his instrument! He’s one of those people who is just a joy to work with and we look forward to collaborating with him again on future musical projects!"

"Issac was amazing!! He played for my father in law's 90th birthday and brought him to tears, happy tears. He took the time to sit and talk to him after and went around to speak to everyone. It was an extraordinary day and we were all super pleased. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend for any event you may have."
