"I hired Jim for my 40th birthday dinner. Leading up to the event, Jim had asked all the right questions about all the necessary logistics but also what I wanted my event to feel like. On the day of the dinner, Jim arrived dressed professionally and played perfectly. He did a great opening solo and then played the right amount of background music to match the tempo of the dinner. All my guests gave me compliments for getting such a classy act for the event. Highly recommend Jim for any event you may have. "

"I recently worked with Dan and his musicians for a corporate event and we recommend them as a welcome addition to any gathering. They were punctual and talented. They read the room perfectly in their choice of songs to play. Everyone was able to enjoy the live music, even while having conversations with out being drowned out by it. "For my 40th, I had a 1920s themed party in a beautiful 1920s ballroom in Letchworth Garden City. I can honestly say that the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the party was the 5 piece Silk Street Jazz band. I felt like I had stepped back in time. They were absolutely wonderful – truly superb – and contributed to one of the very best nights of my life. They were extremely professional, flexible and accommodating (even happy to accompany a last minute request from my husband to sing with them!) and really looked dapper in their gorgeous red waistcoats. They did an outstanding job – what a talented group of gents! Thank you Silk Street Jazz"

"Southern sons quite literally made our evening, they learnt our first dance song, quite an obscure one as it was an American country song. They played it beautifully. Our dance floor was never empty and the boys were hilarious. They filled the room with an amazing atmosphere and people haven’t stopped raving about them. My new husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all once again for giving us the best night. We will be keeping them in mind for future events. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely cannot rate this band more highly and would get them booked immediately if you have the chance! Booked The Mirrors for a hen party and they did not disappoint. They came with a collection of crowd pleasing songs, stunning vocals and incredible guitar playing, but not only this, amazing personalities and the fun factor which was needed for the occasion. They were very professional from booking, confirming details, checking in prior to the event and then the event itself. The real highlight of our weekend. They were an incredible talent and even more fun!!!"
