"This review is LONG over due as Makaio absolutely MADE our cocktail reception complete. I had visions of a lounge atmosphere and wanted it to be a surprise for the guests. Mak played along the entire time to the point of actually getting some silverware for one of our guests before we announced "does anyone else want to say anything" and he seamlessly broke out into my favorite standard "The Way You Look Tonight". He incorporated all our favorites as well as our guests requests. He even remembered I had some Parrotheads in the room and threw in some Buffet :) all this then drove back to the city from Indiana in a snow storm. I love his sound and I swear he sang for 3 hours straight. Honored a clip from our event is on his web page. We loved him. Book him, you will not be disappointed."

Excellent musicians, they provided a superb selection that matched the mood and wants of our guests. Compliments came from all quarters during the party, and we were delighted that our guests were so pleased with our choice. "Feet tapped, eyes shone, hands clapped and hips and heads rolled as the brilliance of the great song writers Gershwin, Porter, Warren, Berlin and others became the hymns of this Saturday evening. But light-hearted as most of the music was, there was contrast in the emotive classic 'Every Time we say Goodbye' sung by the nightingale Gaylene Parish (close your eyes and it was Ella Fitzgerald)."

"Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz Trio were terrific for our Wedding in Orvieto Italy. They sounded amazing, and created the perfect vibe for our Italian wedding. With a little rain to deal with, they handled no problem, and were very quick in making the changes between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner locations. Music was perfect, exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio. Thank you for making our special day, even more special!"
