Review Centre: Wedding Singers

"We first stumbled across Ed & Oliviya when they performed an acoustic set for the Bedford Gin Festival back in 2018. When we started planning our wedding in the Loire Valley, France my [now] wife and I both suggested we contact them to see if they'd be willing to travel and perform for us. Having contacted Ed directly, I cannot overstate how great he was to deal with. Ed was always prompt in his responses, from the quotation to additional requests we made along the way (and also on the day itself). Nothing was ever too much for them and they added significantly to our special day. We had a large number of guests specifically mention how much they enjoyed Ed & Oliviyas music - they performed before the ceremony and also got the party started after dinner. They make a fantastic duo, with Ed on guitar and Oliviya's stunning vocals. I would whole-heartedly recommend using these two if you have a special event which requires some music. Next time we have a party and need some music - we will definitely be giving you a call. Thanks again for everything, and making our day extra special. Love, Damian & Anastasia"

"We’ll definitely be back. The musicians were top-class professionals, and the experience was interactive: as well as the traditional flamenco show, we booked the introductory workshop where they taught us how to clap and do some simple steps – it was great fun. It was a real pleasure to have the artists up close and to enjoy their warmth and friendliness. My wife certainly had a fantastic start to her 60th birthday."

The performance helped to enhance a relaxed ambience and we received positive feedback from a number of our guests who included local councillors, charity CEOs and university students. "Alfonso and Valentina gave our wedding a very special character. The preliminary talks, the sound equipment and, above all, the music were simply wonderful. Valentina has a great voice and can make the crowd dance with her style. Alfonso can play almost any song on his guitar in a few seconds, even without this having been discussed beforehand. Both are very helpful and personable. I can only recommend the duo. Thank you for everything! you were great"

" Stephanie M August 2022 5 out of 5 I booked Anna as a solo act for my Parents 50th wedding anniversary. From the moment I enquired online, Anna's communication was flawless. She made me feel very confident in all aspects, including but certainly not limited to song requests and act requirements. Anna was kind enough to bring a card for my parents and she was respectful and mindful when I told her a few days prior to the event that a family member had passed away. Anna went out of her way to pay tribute on the night and even allowed my father to do the same. I couldn't recommend her enough - truly a great artist and even greater person. regards Stephanie"

"Adam was a delight to work with in the runup to our wedding (very responsive and friendly in all contact we had and listened carefully to all our thoughts and requests for the day) and then on the day was professional and played wonderfully for our guests who all commented on how nice the music was. Can't recommend Adam enough for your event. "

"Dan Knight was brilliant, especially after a previous experience booking another artist (Almost Ollie) who took our deposit and vanished. Dan was on time, and did everything we asked, even down to rehearsing a track that we requested for our first dance, and he performed it perfectly. we would definitely recommend him.... full thumbs up!!"

Throughout the whole booking process you were responsive, accommodating and helpful and I was really impressed with your ability to tailor your set to accommodate my requests. I was amazed by your ability to learn so many songs in such a short space of time, a real testament to your vocal abilities and dedication to your clients! On the night, you were punctual, organised and efficient when setting up before wowing my guests with 3 sets of top quality music! "As Misty Lee Brown arrived at our event, she was joyful and engaging with our guests. She is a sultry singer, belting out from the inner soul. Her singing style is reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan, singing old time jazz tunes to popular R&B. Her style is also a mix of conservative, contemporary and modern. "Today a group of us went to Sundays in San Pedro to hear Wade Engelbrecht singing. As I have been a vocal coach and profesional sing myself, I am quite particular. Well I was transported by Wade's beautifully, warm voice and vocal use. His backing was not the usual irritating noise but a wonderful accompaniment that made this whole experience really exceptional. I was so disappointed to have leave before he finished his last set. I would recommend Wade Engelbrecht as a singer for any occasion, bringing an atmosphere that simply makes you feel happy to be alive. "
