"We've booked Chronicles of Zee several times for our annual ball, and they never let us down, applying a funk, soul and ska twist to a range of classics to get the dancefloor rocking with something for everyone. Des and the band are great guys and we'd happily recommend them. "

"Sisters and Brothers Gospel Choir Ensemble is surely one of the most amazing gospel group in Italy: I have hired them multiple times and they have always given awesome concerts. They are also really suitable for Wedding Celebrations or Company Events. I strongly recommend them!"

"Ant was recommended to us by a friend to play at our wedding and he was brilliant! He played instrumental covers as our guests arrived at the church, the bride was nearly half an hour late but Ant was more than happy to carry on playing and created a lovely atmosphere in the church which everyone really enjoyed. We asked Ant if he would be able to play and sing our favourite song whilst we signed the register in the church. He learned this specially and it was perfect, and one of the many highlights of our day. Ant also performed some covers as our guests arrived at the reception and everyone loved the live music. Ant was professional, passionate, very friendly and it was a pleasure to have him perform on our special day. We couldn’t recommend Ant enough. Thank you so much. "

"We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz Band who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. All our guests remarked on how wonderful the band was, including our younger guests who greatly enjoyed dancing away at jazz pieces they would not normally listen to, as well as the jazz buffs amongst us of which there were many. We would not hesitate to contact the band again for future events and therefore would also wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else! Thank you for a beautiful jazzy evening… Enrica and Rombout"

"Right from booking with pharaoh & the beats until the Wedding the communication was great couldn’t have asked for more. They fitted with our venue perfectly and we were so happy with their performance on the wedding evening. They engaged with the guests and had everyone dancing. "Review received on 7/4/2021 Amazing band - made our wedding This band is so amazing. They are all the nicest of people and amazingly talented musicians and vocalists. They performed at our wedding, including acoustic music while we walked down the aisle and during the cocktail hour and then they rock and rolled for dinner. They gave us a huge set list that we could choose from which they played and also added to. Everyone enjoyed them so much. People were dancing all night. They really made our wedding a special event. "As musicians ourselves, we thought finding the perfect music to accompany our wedding in Tuscany would be difficult. However Blue Moon Jazz quickly set us at ease. After being impressed with their sound on video, we managed to organise seeing the band instrumentally at a nearby venue they were playing whilst visiting our venue. They were so friendly and happy to let us come along for a live listen. They sounded even better in real life! Pianist and band leader Raphael was informative and communicative throughout our planning process. Their musicianship and talent is top notch and they sounded amazing during our ceremony, aperitif and party. The guests all commented on how great they sounded and how much they enjoyed dancing and singing along. The vocals and each instrument were played to perfection. I cannot recommend them enough. To top it off Blue Moon let us play a song with them on the wedding night! Thank you Raphael, Bernardo, Paolo & Nanà, you were awesome! "

"We loved Raphael and Blue Moon Jazz Trio! We had our wedding in Florence, Italy in Sept 2021 and they were soo wonderful! Raphael was so patient with us trying to select our songs and super accommodating. It took a while for us to decide and they very understanding. They were on-time and reliable. Everything went soo smoothly. We decided to include the sax during dinner and it made it so much more lively during the reception. They were so kind and sweet, and would highly recommend!"

"Ant Barnes played four sets at our wedding this August (2021). It was a small wedding of 30 guests and Ant played 2 relaxed sets during the drinks reception and then 2 more lively sets for the evening after dinner. Ant was brilliant in making sure everything was organised well in advance of the day and we spoke a couple of times via Zoom. Everyone absolutely loved the music and Ant was extremely professional throughout the day. Ant read the atmosphere of the day brilliantly and really added to the day. We would highly recommend Ant for anyone thinking of booking him for an event."
