"Blue Moon Jazz Band helped to create a magical environment for our wedding ceremony and aperitivo. I was very particular about the song and exact arrangement that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, and the pianist Raphael learned it and played it so beautifully. He also did a great job playing a very technically difficult song for our recessional. The jazz standards the group played during aperitivo set the tone for the night – allowing us to connect over the music or dance and sway along if we chose to! The group plays with a lot of heart and emotion! Thank you so much to the group for contributing to the best day of our lives! We definitely recommend to all. "

Their performance is slick ,well rehearsed and packed with entertainment. Every member of the band is a very accomplished musician and together they are the band you want to dance to.. "Someje and her band were exceptional! She has such an amazing soulful voice and the musicians were top notch. Their performance was loved by all who attended. Also, the communication leading up to the event was excellent. We had some unexpected changes to our program and Someje and her band handled it with professionalism and grace. We would definitely book her again and highly recommend her and her band."

"We hired The Session Band for our wedding in Devon. They were brilliant throughout the whole process from enquiry, to booking, to performing. Before the booking, they also gave us other options to add on if we wanted. Once we booked, they sent over their website with their library of songs. We picked a few we liked and they then built their set from that. They also agreed to play our first dance song that we requested. The band were great when they arrived and were accommodating with us as we were slightly behind schedule. Our guests absolutely loved the band and we had so many positive comments from them. In between the band sets we also went for the DJ and Saxophone option, which were great at getting people dancing towards the end of the night. Overall a brilliant experience and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band."

"Tom & I honestly can't thank you enough for playing at our wedding - Your renditions of 'How long will I love you' and 'Thinking out loud' were so perfect, we couldn't have asked for a more intimate ceremony. Our guests are still commenting on how talented you both are! Played ALL of our favourite songs, and even got my father up for a boogie (A hard task, let me tell you!!). (Oh, and the video you put together for us of the reception was so thoughtful :D) Thank you so much!"
