"From start to finish we have nothing but praise for The Krakens. Chris was quick to respond to my enquiry looking for a band to play at a 30th birthday party and kept in touch from then on. We were sent a varied list of songs to choose from; a mix of rock/pop both modern and classic. Once the booking was confirmed they asked us if there was anything we wanted added to the list and they would learn them for the evening! On the night the band turned up on time, and set up (and packed up) without any bother. Their performance was totally satisfactory, two excellent one-hour sets which included our requested numbers. Everyone agreed that The Krakens were a friendly, “tight” band that performed with confidence and professionalism which made our night that bit special. Would definitely recommend them!"

"Ant was fantastic!! We asked Ant to sing/ play guitar to one of our favourite songs (Better together, Jack Johnson) during the signing of the register at our church ceremony wedding. He also sang Elton John 'Your song'. We absolutely loved his performance and so many of our guests said how great they thought he was!! He sang them brilliantly and gave an extra personal touch to our ceremony. His kind, easy going nature made the whole process of booking/ arranging very simple. Would highly recommend!!!"

"Wow! Where do we begin…Matt played our wedding in summer 2018, both with a band but also performed our first dance. Meeting Matt in the Alpes, we stayed in touch over the last 10 years which made it even more special. Knowing and watching him perform for many years now in multiple countries, he is always very professional, and certainly knows how to put on a show and get the crowd going. Matt is super talented, a lovely guy, and we 100% recommend him. He is a one-man band which is so impressive!! Matt truly made our wedding super special, and I can't wait to see him perform again. "They flew all the way from Brighton—a place that’s very special to us—and went above and beyond to make it happen. They came highly recommended by our wedding planner (who had them at her own wedding!), and still managed to exceed all our expectations. We wanted a full day of 80s music, and the Spark Up Band lads delivered in every way—from laid-back tunes in the sunshine during our cocktail hour, to opening the dance floor with our first dance, and keeping the party going late into the night. We had compliments on the music and atmosphere all day, and that’s entirely down to them. Their energy and talent truly brought the whole day together. If you’re looking for a band for your wedding, party, or event, we couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you so much to the whole Spark Up Band crew for making the trip and making the day unforgettable—we’re so grateful!"
