"I absolutely loved this group of guys. They're talent is top notch, jaw dropping, record-and-rewatch kind of talent. I have done it over and over. Several years ago they brought us into their world by creating a live band karaoke night with 500+ song list. Coming from a singer who's performed for years in cover and tribute bands, I was floored by their musical knowledge and abilities. They're insanely talented and I've pushed the world aside on my bday a few times to make them my bday band just because they were playing somewhere on my big day. I highly recommend you go see them…you will love them. Tell them to play some "Floyd" for me. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and they're great humans too. These guys are top notch!"

"This was my first ever swing band concert and what can I say – it was fantastic – I didn’t realise how good they were! What a great evening. We travelled in ice, snow, high heels and dresses and it was very worth it. Fabulous music and excellent entertainment. It really started off my Christmas. Can’t wait for next year."

On the big day, the band arrived on time and remained discreet in the background until it was time to perform – everything was smooth and stress-free. Musically, they nailed the style we had requested and created a fantastic atmosphere. Our guests were just as impressed as we were! "We’d just like to say a massive thank you to you and your swing band for performing at our wedding at Beamish Hall. The overall presentation was extremely professional from start to finish and the standard of the music was superb – we had a lot of guests who are musicians including the bride, and they’re still all talking about the quality of your performance! We all thought that the way you got everyone involved with certain musical numbers was great fun and created a whole new dimension to the evening. We have had lots of guests comment on how much fun they had dancing and how incredible your performance was. Quite a few guests said that you were the best swing band they’ve seen at a wedding by a long way. We are also very grateful to you all for learning That’s Amoré for our first dance. It was an excellent rendition – so much so, that we danced to it twice! All in all, Mr Swing’s Dance Orchestra played a very big part in making our wedding day so special and unique! "The Gleams do not disappoint. Michele and his group were everything we could have hoped for and made our special day all the more special. Just incredibly talented people with tremendous skills and even better attitudes. They came all the way to Positano from Milan to put on an unbelievable performance. If you are looking for live music for your italian wedding or event, the Gleams are the best of the best!!! Bravo!"

"This 5 star rated musical set up was incredible. I chose them deliberately as Josh and Nora were contemporary. They are flexible and will meet client needs. They were exceptional from booking to the event itself. Put simply, ordinary, yet incredibly talented lovely professional humans with the same wish as you. They will guarantee you a good time. In fact it’s better than good, it’s awesome. They will work with you. They will liaise with you and they will show you talent, musical mixology and DJ styling, producing floorfiller after floorfiller. The vocals are second to none from Nora, the energy she evokes, the same. Daisy, the saxophonist, is totally brilliant. My 50th party guests were incredibly complimentary about their energy, their drive and willingness to give you the time of your life. I was overwhelmed. If you don't believe me, book them to witness an incredible evening of dancing, partying and the feeling of - wow- what just happened! Highly recommend. "The Unknowns have a new EP out. “Uninvited” is a delightful five-song collection that shows off some cool soul and tango influences in addition to the band's usual jazz/pop/folk mix and superb three-part harmonies.
