Review Centre: Dance Bands

"I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Mike and Gerry who form The Berking Mad Band. This is the third event that we have booked them for and once again it was a massive success. They are always reliable and turn up on time. They set up the equipment with no fuss and are very adaptable to any type of event whether it be a Burns Night, a Ceilidh, a Wedding or a Birthday Party. Dave is incredibly patient at giving instructions to those who are novice dancers and even goes out onto the dance floor to help people with the dance steps. They cater for all abilities, young and old! Dave encourages people to get up to dance without being too intrusive and has a good sense of humour which makes people laugh and enjoy the night. Everyone who has been to our events where The Berking Mad Band have played have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have always been very positive about this band. "I only want to emphasise what my wife has written about the band that played at our wedding. The music was superb, and all the guests said how impressed they were with the choice of songs. They really did make our wedding a perfect day and gave us and our guests the party that we wanted. We can not praise them enough and its a shame that we can only give them 10 out of 10. " Ostrich Hat made our wedding absolutely phenomenal. Their flexibility with scheduling and timing was so superb. They were talented performers who were able to get everyone dancing. Their song choices were very fun and they did a beautiful rendition of our song. They helped me connect with an acoustic musician for the ceremony as well. If you are thinking about Ostrich Hat for your wedding, absolutely choose them to have the reception of your dreams. Even our photographers (who shoot weddings every weekend) were extremely impressed with them. I think that speaks volumes."

"My friends have just had an anniversary party in Dubrovnik and they've booked duo Ancora. These guys really spiced up the evening. The music, atmosphere, interaction with the audience-everything was great. Everyone was complementing my friends for their music choice. I especially enjoyed their selection of oldies; for me, that was the best part of the party."

"The band at our wedding was absolutely phenomenal! From the first note to the last, they brought so much energy and talent to the night. The combination of trumpet, guitar, saxophone, voice, and drums created a perfect atmosphere that kept everyone on their feet, dancing all night long. Each musician was incredibly skilled, and the chemistry between them was incredible. The sax and trumpet added such a unique and lively touch, and the vocalist had a voice that truly wowed the crowd. Not only was the music amazing, but they were also super professional and flexible with our requests. "We cannot recommend Herding Katz highly enough. Highly professional and reliable. They delivered 3 high powered sets of songs we asked for. Had our guests up and dancing from the start. Steve is an amazing guitarist but the whole band is just amazing. We cannot recommend these guys enough. We will be booking Herding Katz again."

"POSTING ON BEHALF OF THE MARLOW BOTTOM PLAYING FIELD COMMITTEE: Following a fabulous event last weekend, once again, JBMAC had the audience out of their seats and dancing to an Ibiza club groove! Young and old alike were seen bopping along, even with a late afternoon slot and the delicious smell of food wafting across the field, the energy from the stage and the crowd was unyielding! One attendee said ‘I loved them, banger after banger, a right little afternoon rave!’"
