Review Centre: Acoustic Duos

"Euro Café Duo were invited to entertain guests at my 80th birthday event held at the beautiful Rockport Barn venue at Rockport, Ontario on June 8, 2024. I had asked for a blend of nostalgic easy-listening and European/Parisian music as social-background and then more watchable treatments. Andrea and Edward delightfully exceeded my expectation. Our mixed age gathering thoroughly enjoyed the music and the duo’s showmanship. My wife and I loved dancing to some of our requests such as, La Vie en rose and As Time Goes By. Thank you, Andrea and Ted, for adding such a magical touch to my special day. "

"We hired the violinist and pianist for a corporate gala in Padua, and they delivered an outstanding performance. Our goal was to impress our clients with a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, and they exceeded every expectation. From the organizational point of view, everything was flawless. They were punctual, well-prepared, and completely autonomous. This made our job much easier and allowed us to focus on the event itself. Musically, they were exceptional. The combination of violin and piano created a refined and engaging sound that perfectly matched the tone of the evening. They managed to be both elegant and entertaining at the same time. Their repertoire was versatile and adapted beautifully to the different moments of the event, from the welcome cocktail to the main part of the evening. Our guests were extremely impressed, and many of them complimented the live music. Some even asked for their contact details for future events. We highly recommend them for any corporate or private event where quality and professionalism are essential."

"Can't recommend Kodiak Avenue enough after they played for us at a family party. They were friendly, accommodating, and professional, but more importantly, talented! Aside from a beautiful voice and exquisite guitar playing, they pitched the playlist just right with some lovely song choices. It was a garden party so lots of distractions going on (small children etc.) but they managed to deliver a brilliant set in a very relaxed way. My parents were really happy with how the music went, as was I and everyone I spoke to."

"Lari and Max were amazing. I arranged for Lari and Max to surprise my fianceé in a surprise proposal and it couldn't have gone better. They were amazing and played several beautiful songs for us including a special request song they learned just for the event. They also added their own personal twist to each song which we thought made the songs sound even better and more romantic. My fianceé and I both loved having them be apart of the event. They really added that extra something special for us. Highly recommend!"

"Fun, Energetic, & Personalized Performance Recently hired this duo for my parent’s wedding anniversary party and they were great! "My goodness! We hired Paora and Michelle to sing at our wedding and they were absolutely pertect for what we needed! They are a beautiful looking couple and so professional. And they can SING!!! They seemed to read the room perfectly and set the mood for the our guests with their song choices that we all absolutely loved. We didnt even have to give them our preferences. They just knew. Paora and Michelle had everyone tapping their toes, smiling, laughing and happy. You can see through their performance how much they love each other. I am definitely calling them again for our anniversary. Hire them! They're amazing."
