"Thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding so special. We wanted to find a band who did something a bit different, and who could play to a wedding crowd without being too ‘cheesy’. I’m so glad they were able to make our wedding in Wales; they were incredible. From the start, they were flexible about what songs we wanted them to play and were quick to respond - all while being amazing musicians who I’d love to see play all over again. They really judged the mood of the evening and both of their sets were brilliant. Everyone left the evening wanting to know who the band were, how we found them...or wanted to pick up a tuba and start learning. Thank you, thank you! "

"The perfect rhythm for your party This is a band of "crazy" people—but the good kind of crazy! They do everything possible to make your celebration truly unique. They were incredibly accommodating with all our requests and absolutely perfect during the live performances—from a relaxed aperitif to a high-energy post-dinner concert that had everyone dancing non-stop. And the final DJ set kept the party going until late at night! They delivered over six hours of continuous music, fully immersing themselves in our amazing celebration. The real highlight? The wedding march played live during the ceremony—an unforgettable touch! To sum it up, if it’s not already clear: trust them—you won’t be disappointed!"

"Dear Jonathan, I wanted to put pen to paper to thank you and the band for an absolutely splendid performance last Saturday. The three players, whose names – I am ashamed to admit – escape me (one tends to drink a little on ones’ 50th) were fantastic. Smiling, easy going and accommodating yet thoroughly professional, they played superbly and contributed hugely to the success of the party. "We really wanted a folk style band with a saxophone player which believe it or not seems to be harder to find than you would think and then we found you guys and we are so thankful that we chose you! "The band the Southern Sons booked through Richard at Richer Music were amazing. The whole experience of booking the band for a special event was easy, relaxed and efficient. The 3 piece band itself were very friendly, fun, great musicians and liked by all at our event. We had many comments throughout the evening of how good they were. We cannot thank them enough for helping to make our evening so special."

"Big Smoke Brass played at one of our Freshers’ events in September, and they were absolutely wonderful. The music was phenomenal, but equally their professionalism and efficiency were spot on. They made managing a very stressful event, considerably more enjoyable. I’ve already booked them for our Oktoberfest, and will be looking for other opportunities to employ them again. These boys are incredibly talented and deserve to go far. On behalf of Trinity Laban Students’ Union, thank you so so much for your brilliant performance!"
