Review Centre: String Quartets

"Raphaël, Cedric, Daniel and Adyr were exceptionally professinal, talented and friendly. They played a range of genres (including some Bangara covers) as a quartet for 2.5 hours at Chateau de Brives, Bordeaux, in July 2024. They played beautifully! They were extremely happy to play our many requests even submitted with short notice, and had a list of suggestions too. Guests really enjoyed them and were very complimentary. They were communicative and responsive and liased with our planner very well, and were happy and professional on the day. They went above and beyond playing for both our ceremony and reception. We wish they could have played all day! This string quartet was definitely worth it for our wedding, we can't imagine our day without them! Thank you all so much for your support and beautiful music."

"We did an outdoor ceremony for about 80 people. I provided a complex set-list, with timings for the key moments within the event, and they did absolutely fabulously. We had a few curveballs, because my family is a bit shameless-- as they went off-script. The musicians held poise, rolled with the punches, and executed the event as if it was all part of the plan. From initial discussions, to planning, to payments, to execution, Duo Maritimo was flawless. Thank you so much for making the ceremony a truly memorable, and magical event. Highly recommended!"

"Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend The Bossard Quartet! We booked The Bossard Quartet to play at our wedding originally scheduled for June 2020. With the pandemic, we had to re-schedule our wedding not once, but twice! Amy was really helpful both times and we were able to re-book for our eventual date very smoothly. We finally got married in June 2022, and TBQ played during our wedding ceremony and the drinks reception afterwards. We really loved the vast repertoire of songs that we could choose from which really helped make the ceremony our own! They sounded fantastic too. All our guests loved having TBQ play during the drinks reception - and particularly loved the Juke Box feature where guests could request any song they wanted from the huge repertoire! So many of our guests have commented about how great TBQ were. We are so grateful to you for making our wedding day extra special, and at such a reasonable price! Thank you!"

It was very easy and straightforward to arrange all the details with her. Jennifer was also great with providing suggestions on how many songs were needed for the ceremony and where they usually go. This was very helpful as I've not been to many weddings. For song choices, she has an extensive catalogue of songs to choose from, and she was happy to learn a few special requests for us. They were punctual, professional, and played absolutely beautifully! All of our guests enjoyed the music and agreed that it definitely elevated the whole experience. Jennifer was personable, prompt to respond, and very flexible when it came to choosing the music/music order, and went out of her way to find and create arrangements for lesser known songs that I really wanted to have for our ceremony. We gave Jennifer a challenging list of our favourite music we hoped to hear and she was able to nail all of the songs.
