Review Centre: Dance Bands

"We booked the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band for our wedding in June 2024 on Lake Como. To make a long story short: The band is very professional and the music was simply fantastic. We and our guests really enjoyed it. In particular, we would like to mention that the preparation together with the pianist Raphael was very pleasant and absolutely exemplary. We had various special requests and Raphael spared no effort to test them in advance and let us know the result. We can recommend the band with a clear conscience and wish them all the very best on their musical journey! "

"We booked Gay Elvis for Southampton Pride 2022 and were absolutely delighted with his performance, professionalism and pazazz! The crowd adored him and from an organising committee's point of view, he was a dream to work with. The communication was great all the way through the process, he was quick at responding to requests and sending tracks and promo material and we would highly recommend him to anyone! Needless to say we have booked him again for Southampton Pride 2023 and can't wait to have him back!"

"Just AMAZING !!!! I saw this band in Lefkas island few years ago for the first time in a bar and became a big fan, trying to see them every time they play in the area ! Every single time, I see people having the best time of their lives ! A friend of mine chose them for his wedding and was very satisfied. These guys are professionnels, they have such a great repertory of songs (from rock, folk, rhythm'n blues to funk, disco etc.) that they can easily adjust to any circomstances or expectations ! I strongly recommand this band !"

"We managed to secure Le Freak four days before our 30th birthday party and I’m so glad we did. They were amazing! They looked fantastic, sang fantastic and just had everyone up on the dance floor. Their songs were classic party songs with a range of well known songs. We couldn’t have asked for a better band. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much 💜"

"We couldn’t thank metropolis live music enough! As many know wedding planning is quite stressful but Mingo Tull (band leader) made it seamless and worry free. We chose them after a friend recommended them and made our wedding a total success! Almost 2 months later and people are still saying “that band was unreal”, “that band was electric”, “my legs were so sore from dancing because of the band”. If you are worried about people dancing at your wedding, then this is the band for you! Metropolis will forever be special to us because they made our dream wedding come true! Also every single band member and sound crew was amazing as well. The talent was unmatched. "The BassBoards recently performed at the annual Copper Hill Country Club Holiday Dinner Dance. They came highly recommended and certainly lived up to the their reputation. They played a wide variety of music and were very entertaining, exceeding our expectations in every way. I recommend them to anyone looking for high quality live music at any size event."

"We are incredibly grateful the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band was willing to travel to Loro Ciuffenna to play at our wedding. Raphael, the pianist, was our main contact, and he was always quick to respond, reassuring regarding planning the day of, and amazing to work with. The band was extremely accommodating, and especially adaptive to changes in the moment, and of course extremely talented musicians. They set the perfect mood for our day and were a highlight of our wedding. We also hired a DJ to play after our cake cutting for a few hours and he was also a hit! This is a group of geniunely kind, funny, and gifted musicians that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding or special event. "
