"With Groove Primitive you can tell that they are dedicated from the first bar, but they also are fun, with a sense of humour. The funk is tight and the rockier songs have soul. Shay’s vocals are strong and she’s backed by some great players. I’ve seen them in bars and clubs, but could imagine them on a journey to filling much bigger venues in the future. Highly Recommended 5 stars – for entertainment and musical virtuosity."

Their talent, stage presence, and versatility had everyone dancing and singing along all night. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was—it truly made the night unforgettable. "Wow, just wow. We hired the Brogues for our daughters wedding, who wasn't convinced a Ceilidh was for them. To start with Grace is a fabulous communicator, nothing was too much trouble and lots of questions were asked to make sure the evening went down with a bang. The Ceilidh was just fabulous, EVERYONE got involved, and the instructions from the band was great. They had patience of Saints, and even threw some humour in too. Our daughter and son in law LOVED it ( a bit of kudos for me) and said 'it made' the wedding evening. So, if you're considering booking them we really cannot recommend The Brogues enough. Competitively priced and simply the best entertainment we've had for years. You won't regret it!"

"Voices as smooth as molasses, coaxing you into a velvet wingback chair, only to take you by the hand and guide you onto the dance floor as soon as you sit.....This group of women aren’t just a one trick pony though, they continually flex their musical muscles throughout the record. They keep the listener on their toes with different styles, sprinkling in slight rhumba sounds, some flamenco guitar in one song and as previously stated soul throughout. "

"The Hot Boots Band is a very entertaining band. They come to have a good time and you will too. They play a wide variety of music spanning from old standards through to present day. They joke and engage with the audience and invite participation. They show up on time and are professional to deal with. "

"A big thank you for your part in Saturday's party. You did a great job and it was a real pleasure to have you playing. The music was super and it was a relief to me that you just got on with the job so efficiently and unobtrusively, so I didn't need to think about that side of things at all. Thanks to so many people giving a helping hand I was delighted to be able to join in plenty of the dances myself which was great fun. Thanks again for giving us a memorable evening, and very best wishes for the Brogues."
