Review Centre: Jazz Bands

" Unique, talented, mellow DJ! Brian was approachable to talk to, esp. with it being my first time working with a DJ. He was willing to take the time to listen to songs that were important to me and other things about the wedding (actually we had a renewal of vows celebration that was like a wedding). Brian gave great suggestions based on lots of experience. His skills exceed that of others DJ's I've seen -- he's a musician himself too...a really good one! He has a ton of songs to pick from, too; he even pulled out what I'd call dinner versions of a lot of the songs on my playlist for when we were eating (our plan was to have more mellow music during that time). He was friendly and flexible, joining in with 2 other musicians I hired for square/folk dance music. If you're looking for someone who will bring a calm presence, look no further. I've been recommending Brian to several friends. Bonus: he played the music the perfect loudness (as in loud for a party) but comfortable for the ears (you could hold a conversation). I think this contributed to our guests feeling comfortable and smiling the whole time and getting to know each other. I loved that Brian brought equipment for the music to be outdoors at the end when my husband and I danced our special Last Dance on the grass surrounded by family and friends; it was so joyful and fun. "

"We booked Luigi for our wedding as saxophonist and DJ and were very happy with his work. He produced a very unique, Italian vibe during our venue. Additionally, he brought all the equipment such as lights, microphone and speaker that we could also use for the speech. And he brought with him a violinist. So, all in all a very good service and highly recommended! Grazie mille, Luigi!"

"We had Igor perform during dinner at our wedding, and he was fantastic! He has a wide variety of music and even accommodated our special requests. The music added such a classy and fun vibe, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting him. He was professional, easy to work with, and extremely talented. Definitely worth it, highly recommend!"

Many of our guests commented how much they enjoyed listening to the band as we relaxed and chatted in the sunshine. I hoped we were in safe hands but it was great that you were thoroughly professional in your approach arriving early and playing in 30 degree heat without complaint! "Marino and the gang were fantastic from start to finish. Extremely flexible and very easy to deal with, Marino went to every effort to organise a fantastic day & night’s entertainment for us including organising the DJ and admin such as the music tax. The band themselves were very talented musicians; I had a couple of professional musicians as guests who both commented on how good the band were musically! The ceremony music was a lovely background to festivities, the Italian acoustic music made the drinks reception sparkle and the band played with such energy in the evening that everyone was on the dance floor all night! Brilliant selection of songs mixing traditional Italian with modern classics. All that along with some extra special touches. Very highly recommended, you won’t regret selecting the Italian Wedding Band to help celebrate your big day!"
