"I have been meaning to message you directly also to thank you. What you produced the night of our wedding was nothing short of magical - and I do not say this lightly. I am very happy to hear the band enjoyed the evening - I think their enjoyment and energy showed through their music. The feedback we have had from guests is overwhelming, particularly that the band and the singer (I don't remember his name) was the best they have ever heard at a wedding. You guys nailed the performance. I am so happy that we decided to do a live version, you could not have gotten the same energy and vibe with just a recording / original version. Your two sets were also perfect. There were a few times that we all stopped in the marquee to listen and appreciate the music, particularly My Way - I remember looking around and quite a few people were singing along! I think another sign of a success of a wedding is the number of people on the dance floor, and there was not an empty space during the second set. The amount of people of all ages dancing was a true highlight for me as we wanted this to be a wedding that everyone would enjoy - not just us. "

"Simon was absolutely fab! He took us through a lot of options and we went for light music during photos and with our DJ for the reception. Having Simon play was a real highlight of the day. He was amazing and so many guests said just how fun it was. There were a few songs me and Steve really wanted - he really got what we were looking for with the music for the day. We loved him and I don’t think it would have been quite the same without him playing and the atmosphere he naturally brought. Great guy and a really great day "

"It was truly a great concert in the Koepel in Heiloo: the Marcia Bamberg Swing Quartet supplemented by two virtuoso musicians: Tim Kliphuis on violin and Mozes Rosenberg on guitar. The band's permanent lead guitarist, John Ligthart, is also a great talent. Daniel Gueli as bassist gives sparkling solid energy to the whole, nothing is too much for him! Ronald Weel is the reliable rhythm guitarist that a band cannot do without and Marcia Bamberg can really sing! What a fine voice and every note is right. She knows what she's doing and the band as a whole brings a nice atmosphere and surprising moments. It was a concert where you don't start thinking about other things for a moment. Perfect!"

"Have known members of the Free Radicals for decades, and decided to hire them to perform at my wedding in 2014. We had some unusual requests (i.e., to perform as a marching band for a second line) and also to play some quieter "mood" music for our reception, and they were 100% game and did a wonderful job--professional musicians who know how to work a crowd with minimal handholding from event organizers! Guests really enjoyed and would recommend!"

"On Sunday 24th February the ‘David Hitchen Sextet’ sounded like a band that had played together for years. The superbly presented performance had everything…a well planned repertoire, cleverly arranged charts and playing of the highest level. The fact that the six musicians met to perform together for the very first time only two hours before the gig, was quite beyond belief and had David not mentioned it during his announcements no-one would have known. "The band was perfect in all the management of the music in the different locations within the party's venue. they are all very nice and the show is fantastic. We especially appreciated the music of the 50s/60s, and twist and rock and roll. the guests all danced, without exception. Thanks Contrabbandiati"
