"This review is LONG over due as Makaio absolutely MADE our cocktail reception complete. I had visions of a lounge atmosphere and wanted it to be a surprise for the guests. Mak played along the entire time to the point of actually getting some silverware for one of our guests before we announced "does anyone else want to say anything" and he seamlessly broke out into my favorite standard "The Way You Look Tonight". He incorporated all our favorites as well as our guests requests. He even remembered I had some Parrotheads in the room and threw in some Buffet :) all this then drove back to the city from Indiana in a snow storm. I love his sound and I swear he sang for 3 hours straight. Honored a clip from our event is on his web page. We loved him. Book him, you will not be disappointed."

"Wui lol, I don't wanna know how much you play for. I just came to say how good y'all were last night at Thessa's 21st. I'm sure y'all already know it. Amazing voices 👏 really touched the fatu. Also, the band players were just too good. Very talented. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! Appreciated the music so much. 😭 I was your biggest fan 🤣🤣🤣 was hard to keep my ass still when y'all got on. I enjoyed it soo much that apparently, some lady said to me "its not yo birthday" and I said to my cousin, "Oh aye, I couldn't hear her because I was feeling the music." Hahaha. Thank you again. 🤍"

"Hello Laura (and team) Thanks so much for your services at my dad’s funeral - we were all blown away by your beautiful expert singing, professionalism and compassion portrayed to all of us as a family. It made a world of difference to the service and the songs in the crematorium portrayed exactly how we had imagined - dad as a person would have been well impressed and I’m certain he would have been looking down on us. The way you sang ‘How do I say Goodbye’ was absolutely stunning and mum was well impressed as she was the one that chose that specifically. We are sending a small gift and card for you all. "Hiring Collectives Gospel Choir for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We first saw them at a wedding fair and were blown away, we emailed for a quote thinking there was no way they would be within our budget but we couldn't believe how reasonable they are and instantly booked. From start to finish Laura was super helpful and responsive with emails, nothing was asking too much and they were happy to do anything we asked, she made the whole process really easy and stress free. On the day our guests were so shocked (in a good way!) when they walked into the venue to them performing. We had comments all day about them and are still getting people now texting us about how amazing they were. People were literally gasping at some of their vocals and people were in tears. The whole choir were also super friendly and smiley, I was petrified stood at the bottom of the aisle but each time I glanced over at them I was given the biggest smile and it really put me at ease. If anybody's ever debating to book please take my word for it that they will be, by far, the best decision you make."

"Kathrin Eigendorf hat auf unserem großen Geburtstagsfest zwischen dem Essen und dem Start der Tanzparty gesungen. Es war großartig. Sie hat alle Gäste von ihren Stühlen „geholt“, zum Mitsingen gebracht und auf diese Weise eine super Stimmung produziert. Alle waren danach happy und zum richtig feiern motiviert. Wir bekamen durchweg begeistertes Feedback von den Gästen zwischen 22 und 96 Jahren."

It was so lovely to have you all and the guest feedback for you guys was amazing, although I feel short changed and therefore wish I could’ve been a guest, so I could’ve heard you before the wedding too!! You guys were amazing, our friends have filmed parts of the wedding as you were singing, of which Phil and I keep listening to over and over again. The Joker and the Queen was particularly amazing, thank you for learning that and putting your own take on it."
