Solo guitar works at almost every point of an event, from ceremony music and drinks receptions through to relaxed evening sets. Before requesting quotes, it helps to decide where live music sits in your day: quiet background playing during food, a featured moment such as a first dance, or both. That decision shapes the set list, the equipment a performer brings and the price you are quoted.
A typical booking covers two 45-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with breaks in between, though most performers will adjust timings to fit around speeches, courses and other entertainment. For drinks receptions, many guitarists play longer, lighter sets at background volume; for evening slots, expect shorter and more energetic performances. Agree the running order in advance and decide who will cue the performer on the day, so timing changes reach them quickly.
Indoor setups are simple: a chair, a small clear area and a nearby socket cover most performances. Outdoor ceremonies and garden parties need more thought. Ask whether the performer can bring a battery amplifier or play fully acoustic where there is no power, check noise policies and finish times with your venue before booking an amplified evening set, and make sure there is somewhere dry and shaded for both the performer and the instrument.
Guitar players in Sofia mostly quote per set rather than per hour, starting from about €110 for a single instrumental set, with typical bookings around €350 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching €1,000+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts.
The average price for Guitarists available in Sofia, Sofia-Capital, Bulgaria is €350 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Buffalo Duo
"Silvia and Claudia from Buffalo Duo made our wedding an even more special moment. With their finely crafted acoustic pop-folk repertoire, they created an intimate atmosphere. The moment we heard the very first notes of the songs we had chosen for our entrance, we were deeply moved — it was exactly as we had dreamed.
Their attention, precision, and passion shone through every song and every chord. Our guests adored them, appreciating not only their technical skill but also their ability to choose a repertoire perfectly suited to the occasion. Without their touch, the day simply wouldn’t have had the same magic.
We would choose them again without the slightest hesitation and recommend them to anyone looking for musical accompaniment that can turn an event into an unforgettable memory."
Roberto Galanto MUSIC MANAGER - SINGER
"Amazing musician, highly professional, Roberto was the perfect help in creating the atmosphere we needed for our event. I do hope he will work for us again!"
Boogie Csaba Gal
"Have just returned from a cruise on Fred Olsen’s Balmoral, Boogie entertained us every evening. He played all the right music for the age of the passengers on the ship. Really enjoyed his performances."
Ivona & Marko Acoustic
"We had our wedding in Dubrovnik and Marko and Ivona were fantastic, they were so easy to deal with and were the perfect accompaniment to our ceremony. We would recommend them to anyone and could not have wished for more. Thank you!"
Nicola Cordisco
"Absolutely wonderful! So processional. Music was fantastic. Would hire again!"
Antonio Tomeo
"Antonio was amazing and came to Rome to perform a serenade for my fiancée on the night before our wedding. He sang in English and Italian. Would highly recommend!"
