A guide to booking

Hire Ibiza Entertainment in Australia

Booking an Ibiza-style act comes down to two practical questions: where the DJ booth and performers will sit, and what the venue allows after dark. Both are worth settling before you shortlist, because they decide which acts can actually deliver the format. The acts available in Australia range from a solo DJ through to full packages with sax and percussion, and the space and power each one needs differs considerably.

Space, Power and Sound Limits

A DJ setup needs a table or booth of around two metres, a solid power supply and somewhere out of direct weather if the party is outdoors. Adding live players does not need much more floor area, since a wireless sax player or percussionist moves through the crowd rather than standing at a fixed point, but it does mean extra channels on the PA. The bigger constraint is usually the venue: many rooms run a sound limiter, and outdoor spaces often carry a curfew that cuts the night short. Check both before booking, because this style is built on volume and pacing, and an act that has to play under a limiter all evening will not deliver what you booked it for.

What a Quote Should Cover

Ask each act to confirm the same list so the numbers compare like for like: total performance time and how it is split, whether the DJ covers the gaps when the live player is off, PA and lighting, travel, and whether theming elements such as a branded booth or LED screens are included or charged separately. Some acts arrive fully self-contained while others expect the venue to supply sound, and that single difference can account for most of the gap between two quotes. Sharing a rough running order and a handful of reference tracks early also helps, since these acts work to a mood arc rather than a fixed setlist.

What Ibiza Acts Cost in Australia

Rates for a DJ-led set in Australia open at around $230 and average $650, rising to $1,850+ once sax, percussion and a vocalist join. A Saturday will cost noticeably more than the same booking midweek. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due before or on the day, so check when each one expects payment and what the cancellation terms are. It is also worth agreeing an overtime rate up front: nights built on this style tend to run late, and a figure settled at 1am is rarely the one you would have negotiated beforehand.

Photo of Saxophonist Landi Saxophonist Landi "My wife adores the sax and so I had to have Matt play for us during my proposal to her. I had a couple of requests for him like goo goo dolls, which he absolutely blew out the park, and we took a load of photos afterwards with him at Macqauries Chair, Sydney. Thanks mate so much!" Robin is a very likeable and professional DJ. He knows what he is doing and how to build up the mood at the celebration. He rocked the party and responded perfectly to the couple's wishes." She is professional, reliable, and passionate about her music. It has been a pleasure having her perform with us, and we would happily recommend her for future events." Based in Valencia, Spain 12th October 2026 Eduardo - Roto Ibiza Photo of Jack | International DJ & Music Director Jack | International DJ & Music Director "When we first booked Jack Rooster, we thought we were hiring a DJ. What we actually got was a Music Director, trusted advisor, problem solver, coordinator and an incredible partner throughout our entire wedding journey. From the very first planning call, Jack took the time to understand not just the music we liked, but the atmosphere we wanted to create for our families and friends. Over several months of preparation, he helped us think through every important moment across both days, from the Nigerian traditional ceremony to the wedding ceremony, aperitivo, dinner, formal moments and the party. What impressed us most was the level of preparation. Every entrance, transition, performance, cue and special moment was carefully considered. Jack coordinated seamlessly with our planner, live performers, sound team and suppliers, ensuring that everything felt effortless on the day, even though we now know how much work was happening behind the scenes. The music itself was perfect. He somehow managed to bring together guests from different countries, cultures and generations and keep everyone engaged throughout the weekend. Whether it was the traditional Nigerian elements, the romantic wedding moments, the live performances, or the packed dancefloor later in the evening, every part felt intentional and perfectly timed. Several guests commented that it felt less like a wedding and more like a beautifully curated experience. What stood out most was the trust we felt throughout the process. We always felt that Jack genuinely cared about the success of our wedding as much as we did. His professionalism, attention to detail, calm presence and ability to read a room gave us complete confidence from start to finish. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone planning a destination wedding, luxury celebration or special event. Thank you, Jack, for helping to create memories that will stay with us and our families for a lifetime. K & D Catania, Sicily" Based in Rome, Latium, Italy 6th October 2026 K & D
