"Wow, what a fantastic evening we had for our surprise 45th Wedding Anniversary, thank you so much. So much better than a disco. As I understand you were in contact with my daughter to discuss what sort of evening we wanted and you catered for us brilliantly, from our young grandchildren to the 'pensioners'. The dancefloor was full all evening. Couldn't recommend you highly enough. Thank you x Jill and John Stringer (45 Wedding Anniversary)"

"Luke is a great singer and has the ability to appeal to young and old with the first set, swing style, followed by bang up to date for later set. This is the second booking for an event for all the family (age range 3 - 90) and Luke was re-booked by popular demand and we will book again because, apart from being a great singer, he is a really nice guy who is a pleasure to have at our events. Highly recommended."

"IT WAS billed as A Night At The Musicals, and it was certainly a title which attracted a packed house to the Howden Park Centre last Friday evening when Darren Shaw and three dancers took the stage and sang and danced their hearts out. Two for the price of one took on a whole new meaning in this show in which we, the audience, were encouraged to join in with some of the well known songs. If you looked around, all you could see was a sea of smiling faces having a great time reminiscing and sharing some of their favourite moments from the musicals. This was courtesy of one very talented young man sporting a George Clooney haircut and diamond earring, some nifty costume changes, an incredible voice range and an endearing smile. Using a variety of spectacular, if sometimes dazzling lighting effects, and the obligatory dry ice creating an atmosphere that makes the singer appear suspended in clouds, the show began with a spotlight into which sauntered Mr Shaw in top hat and tails singing On The Street Where You Live, from My Fair Lady. Once again the excellent acoustics of the Brian Duguid Theatre played host to emotive, full orchestral music courtesy of impeccably timed tapes. Maybe it was just a shade loud in the first half which saw something very unusual and totally original. Everyone is familiar with The Sound of Music and the recent Connie Fisher version of The Hills are alive. Enter Darren Shaw looking splendid in lederhosen, like a denizen of Austria and straight from the Alps. To everyone's amazement and some barely concealed audience mirth, he became a soprano and made the hills come alive in his own special way. As the show progressed, the format of two songs by Mr Shaw interspersed with dance routines by the hardworking dancers began to win us over. For the first time ever, the famous duet from Grease, You're The One That I Want, was sung by Mr Shaw who performed the male and female parts. Using his falsetto voice – an attribute which was once taught in Italy in the middle ages resulting in the singers being known as castratto (please, don't ask) – Shaw sang the SuBo hit from Les Miserables as he duetted with himself in I Know Him So Well. In The Phantom of the Opera sequence he once again sang the famous duet which takes Christine, the soprano and The Phantom to perform, all by himself. As for the three dancers, two glamorous blondes and a bonny brunette, they proved their versatility by dancing a variety of styles from musical comedy to modern with a brave attempt at Irish River Dancing which drew cheers from the audience. The finale saw Shaw resplendent in a mint green sparkling shirt and matching flares with the dancers in glittering jump suits so there was no doubt that we would hear something from Mamma Mia and we certainly did. This night at the theatre was indeed a feast of tunes from the musicals which at first, thanks to Mr Shaw's dual voice, seemed a little hard to digest but soon became an acquired taste."

"I can't put into words how fantastic Shorrel was on our big day! She was so flexible with the postponements, venue changes and booking changes we had and even on the day as weddings go with timings, Shorrel adapted to the day perfectly and even planned music for parts we hadn't even thought of. If anyone is in two minds about booking for Shorrel to sing you down the aisle, then stop questioning it and go for it. It was one of the best choices we made, she made my entrance feel so elegant. Also she loves a good boogie so if your having her dj for you make sure you call her onto the dance floor because she will join you and have so much fun! She chose some fantastic music out of our suggestions of genres and had everyone dancing until 1am! We had to be kicked out haha! Shorrel definitely played a massive part in making our day as special as it was. Thank you so much and we can't recommend you enough and can't wait to be able to hear you sing again! "The guy’s are as close you will ever get to the real Bee Gee’s, their look and harmonies are fantastic. We can’t wait to have them back. Ricky Tomlinson, The Greenroom Liverpool Barry – we mean Tony B – looked, sang, talked, moved and played guitar exactly like his alter ego. Tony has been Barry Gibb from the beginning of his calling 15 years ago. The portrayal of Maurice & Robin were every bit as convincing as Barry in their looks, trademark dry humour, dress, posture, mannerisms, movement and, of course, that unique, compelling sound. Imitation really was the sincerest form of flattery. Marhaba Desk, Author at Marhaba, Qatar's premier information guide The band were excellent, so thanks very much indeed. I didn’t see them before they left so would you please give them my thanks. Tim Manns, Station Director, The Saint, 107.8 FM, DAB Across South Hampshire, Sky Digital 899. (This was after playing in the middle of Southampton Football pitch (32,000 people) with Alan Shearer Kicking a football head skillfully over the guys heads as they were singing. This is just a brief note to thank you and ‘The Bees Knees’ for the band’s performance at our staff Christmas party at the Thistle Marble Arch on 19th December 2002. They are an excellent tribute band and I really appreciated them appearing in the 1970’s gear as well! I would certainly recommend them if anyone I know is looking for a Bee Gees tribute band or some good entertainment for a party or function. Frances Hughes - Head of Marketing & Sponsorship, CBI - The voice of business The fabulous Bees Knees singing “O-o-o-oh stayin’ alive” paid an exciting tribute to Bee Gees in their first performance in Asia. The Bees Knees performed live in three concerts ‘Night Fever’ organised by Pearl Continental hotels in Karachi, Lahore and Ralwalpini. The Bees Knees is a popular tribute band of the UK and has been holding concerts in Europe and America for the last two years. Each song was followed by by a loud clapping of appreciation. the sweet melodies and upbeat numbers they presented showed the Bee Gees evolution from lite ensemble to soft rock disco geniuses. Their singing had many in the audience tapping their feet and singing with them. The show was a glorious tribute to the Bee Gees. The Bees Knees expressed their desire to visit Pakistan again. Stayin' Alive' with The Bees Knees - The Pakistan Nation Plus Newspaper, 25th September 2003 It appeared as if the Bee Gees had started performing again when a tribute band from London known as ‘The Bees Knees’ performed before Lahore on Tuesday at Pearl Continental Hotel. Bees Knees had been especially invited to Pakistan by the hotel management. The band had performed in Karachi on September 21st and will perform in Islamabad on Sept 24th. Talking to the Daily Times they said, “We’ve’ loved music and especially the Bee Gees, so we started singing their songs. They added, one more reason for performing the Bees Gees is keeping their music alive. They started off the evening with the famous Bee Gees opener ‘You Should Be Dancing’ followed by ‘Tragedy’. The tribute tonight ended with famous Bee Gees numbers ‘ Staying Alive’ and ‘ Night Fever’. 'Bees Knees' performs in Lahore - Daily Times Newspaper, 24th September 2003 What a spectacular night! Last night’s Press Ball, at the County Hotel, Copdock, sponsored by AV Unit and British Gas is fast becoming one of the most glittering events in Suffolk’s social calendar. 250 guests help raise £25,911 in just one night to help improve the lives of dozens of Suffolk children with disabilities. Much of the money came from an auction of items. After the bidding was over guests partied the night away to Bee Gees tribute band, Bees Knees and Abba tribute Abba Illusion. Evening Star Newspaper - Saturday, June 28th, 2003 This is to confirm that the event went very well. The UK Bee Gees turned up on time and set up. They were totally self-contained and extremely well organised. I am new to this and when I asked the theatre manager are all acts as good as this she said definitely not. She stated this was the most professional and best organised group she had ever worked with. The concert went very well and the audience had a whale of a time. Dancing in the aisles. We would highly recommend the UK Bee Gees and will be booking them again. Rotary Club of Felixstowe Languard, Seckford Theatre Hi Tony (UK Bee Gees). I’m Margaret writing to Thank you once more for the time of my life. The review you sent us is a very good one, it praises your show to detail. It says the show was exceptional and what impressed the writer most was that the UK Bee Gees tribute band had such great voices and that it was difficult to believe that they are not the real group and I totally agree. Believe it or not they even mentioned me and how I had one the competition as the biggest Bee Gee Fan in Malta and got to spend the weekend with you in Gozo. Margaret Winner of TV programme in Malta 2006 It took little time for the UK Bee Gees, a very realistic tribute band, to get their audience gyrating to the songs of 20 years ago and the dance floor remained packed all evening. Mike Page, SLCC Please could you pass on our sincere thanks to the band they were absolutely fantastic and everyone loved them. The music and their appearance was very accurate to the real thing. They arrived very early to set up and check everything was to perfection which immediately showed their professionalism. One thing which must not go unmentioned was the willingness of Melanie the manager of the band to help out through the night in any way she could to ensure a successful evening ., which is exactly what it was. Many thanks to you all again. Keith and Ali Price - 'Event In A Tent' Hi, just wanted to say that the team were fantastic, excellent set up, good sound and lighting. Really entertaining. "Dario and Riccardo performed at our wedding during the aperitif, the cake cutting, and later took care of the post-dinner party as well. The music was perfect at every moment, with amazing medleys that sparked the enthusiasm of all the guests, who appreciated it to the fullest. Beyond their artistic side, they proved to be incredibly punctual, precise, reliable, accommodating, and even supportive (essential for organizing the wedding). We are happy to have chosen The Uncles Acoustic Duo for one of the most memorable days of our lives!"
