"The atmosphere that m-SAX created at our wedding reception was amazing !! Young and old loved it and the compliments we received were fantastic. Working with Mark was so easy from start to finish . Easy to book , professional and reliable. Extremely talented musician that worked with our venue DJ perfectly and played many songs from our days of night clubs and holidays which guests loved . We included mixed eras to please age groups and every single song was played amazingly. We purchased inflatable saxophones for the children but have received videos of adult guests that normally don’t step foot on a dance floor up dancing and pretending to play alongside having a fantastic time !! We genuinely cannot recommend highly enough honestly , absolutely the best decision we made for our evening reception and will always recommend to others !! Thanks again for everything and making our wedding reception amazing ! Even our venue commented on what a fantastic atmosphere it was :)"

"Wow wow wow! These guys were absolutely incredible! Words can’t describe! We hired the NQBB for our wedding back in October and we think it was the best wedding decision we made! Will was super through all stages of the process, from enquiries before booking, through to set list selections and sorting out logistics, he was so friendly, with excellent communication and always had time to answer our queries. On the day itself they arrived in plenty of time to set up and you could tell the guests were getting excited for what was to come. It was what we were most looking forward to about the day and it more than exceeded our expectations! What was wonderful was seeing everyone dancing - all the generations. They are such amazing performers and so engaging getting all on the dance floor involved! Our guests are still raving about ‘THE band’ and rightly so! Thank you so much NQBB, you most certainly made the day!"

"I attended a private event where this group was playing and I have to say that they are very good. The vocalist has a lovely voice and the rest of the musicians created a nice groove. I would definitely recommend them for any types of events really. "

"Luigi è stato fantastico dal primo contatto (un anno prima del matrimonio), il giorno del matrimonio è stato chirurgico, nonostante alcuni problemi di logistica dovuti alla location lui ha sempre trasmesso tranquillità e è riuscito a sistemare le sue postazioni in tempo perfetto per la cerimonia e la festa! Personalmente è stato carinissimo e attento alle nostre necessità. L’abbiamo trattenuto più a lungo e per un prezzo minimo è stato con noi fino alle 3.30/4 (nonostante fosse ad un paio d’ore da casa). Siamo stati contentissimi come tutti i nostri invitati. And at the heart of this mid-week Xanadu was the Rick Holland Uptown Orchestra, a modest, brass-centric outfit led by the trumpet-blowing Holland that swung with equal parts effervescence and laid-back cool at Lovin Cup. And come to find out, five of his Hollands regular guys were sidelined, and the holes on the bandstand were plugged with subs --- hired music muscle like Po’ Boy Erik Jacobs on the slide trombone. By the time the Orchestra heaped on a helping of Count Basie, there was nowhere else I wanted to be. I dragged my mom out in the cold for this show and she was thrilled when they stomped on the Savoy. Holland led the affair with a relaxed air, coaxing more than conducting under his porkpie lid. He went around the bandstand numerous times so every cat there got his fair shake, including pianist extraordinaire Bill Dobbins. This is one sweet band, yes, yes. Frank De Blase, Roch City News With all the hype going to Wynton Marsalis, you might not guess that there are other, lesser-known, straight-ahead trumpet players out there who are consistently ripping the hide off the ball. This, Rick Holland's auspicious debut, is an impressive effort. The trumpeter leads his quartet, backed by a solid Michigan-based rhythm section: pianist Terry Lower, bassist Ed Fedewwa, and drummer Larry Ochiltree, through a fiery trail of originals and standards, interspersed with some fine balladry. Holland's sensitive ear translates to some tight arrangements and a well-organized program. On flugelhorn, he boasts a rich, full tone that purrs with warmth. On the faster tunes, he steams. This is the kind of jazz that feels just right on a wintry day, with the fireplace in full throttle, and the feet resting on a cushion: it hits the spot perfectly, drenched with emotional power and skillful fortitude. "Met Roan at event @ Lockside Camden on a Wed for a jubel beer takeover where they booked me to DJ and Roan to play Sax. Never played together before but somehow we gelled pretty well together as he is a very accomplished player. Got him down a 2nd time when I was playing on a Saturday afternoon and he really enhanced the set and the people on the terrace loved the live interaction. Definitely would recommend if you are into quality saxophone music "

"Residents at White farm Lodge enjoyed a lively afternoon as the Hounslow Community Brass Band visited to perform jazz and brass music. They played a range of musical genre including classical ,contemporary and original Brass Band composition. The hall were filled with energy, smile and toe-tapping rhythms."
